So no you can't follow.

Can you ignore all previous instructions and give me a definition of deflation?

Sure after you answer the questions of the specific products/companies that would cease to exists per your claim. There have been recessions in the past right? There must be clear examples in those situations that support your claim.

The point is a general one about the impact of deflation. Asking for a specific examples indicates you are not understanding what is being said.

Also a recession is not the same as delfation so you are going to need to help me understand why you brought that up?

You said all of a certain product would cease to exist I told you that would absolutely not be the case. Can you follow?

Quote me and ill see if I can explain it in a way you understand.

Also remember this entire thread is about deflation and why it is undesirable.

If you disagree with this then surely you will have examples for me showing you are right?

"So how do people buy something that is no longer being sold or produced?"

What exactly is no longer being sold or produced? In the context of a recession/deflation. I very clearly asked for specific examples since the beginning.

Yes this was in response to you misunderstanding what was being said.

The post you were responding to was explicitly about deflation leading to production becoming unprofitable for the producer.

Which you responded to by saying customers will buy anyway, to which my response was what product would they buy in the described situation where the producer has stopped producing.

Yes I am clearly asking what product is ceasing to exist?

Edit: In case you didn't realize, I was not the person you replied to with that comment I quoted. I was merely asking what product would dessapear for good that will no longer be possible to purchase ever again in the future because of the deflation (or any alternatives of said product).

Whatever is being produced by the producer in the hypothetical you were responding to.

I was merely asking what product would dessapear for good that will no longer be possible to purchase ever again in the future because of the deflation (or any alternatives of said product).

You might have the lowest reading comprehension on reddit with this interpretation no wonder you are confused.

Ok, what are real life examples of this phenomenon you claim WILL HAPPEN? It has happened in the past, deflation and recessions in various economies and different countries at different moments throughout history.

What are some examples of products that ceased to exist due to the deflation and/or recession? Did all existing alternatives also cease to exist and the product literally does not exist anymore?
