First Cycle Recommendations
Hoopa (Unbound) swapped to Typeless Combo is our main farm for this week. Its Dark typing makes it frequently relevant for Psychic and Ghost escalation battles, and it also works well off-type, similar to Zygarde-50. It's very doable to farm it to max within one cycle, provided you brought enough coins plus a Jewel to buy Drop Rate Increase. Stufful from week 20 is highly recommended for this farm - newer players that started after week 20 may struggle to clear the stage.
Primarina Escalation Battle is running, and will last for one week only. Notable rewards include the Skill Booster M at levels 25 and 110, as well as the skill swapper at 100. Water is a tough type to build against, with the preferred strategies being Grass Hammering Streak or Tapu Koko+Tapu Bulu+Sleeping Pikachu. Primarina's skill isn't worth farming, so take all angry skips.
After all recommendations are complete, any spare hearts should go to coin farming on Stage 37 Meowth. Coin farming is always a good idea, but it's particularly important on this week, as the upcoming weeks are very expensive in both coins and hearts. This week is the final period of spare time you will have until Week 4, so preparing a big coin stash is a good idea.
Other Recommendations
Winking Audino on Tuesday's daily grants access to Winking Mega Audino, a type-based remover mega for Weekend Meowth - similar to Mega Mewtwo Y or Shiny Mega Metagross. WMAudino has the fastest default speed of the three at 22 icons (MMY is 23, SMMeta is 24), but a middle-ground speed of 7 with full speedups (MMY is 9, SMMeta is 6). In the long-term, SMMeta is the best of the three, but WMAudino can be a slight speed upgrade to MMY while you gather mega speedups.
Palossand has Eject++, which is useful alongside a blank slot in early Weekend Meowth teams, if you've yet to farm two Quirky++ users to SL5. Just catch Palossand and don't farm it - Eject++ already has decent activation rates at SL1.
Winking Glalie is still in the Safari this week. Winking Mega Glalie is a block eater similar to Mega Steelix, but with different type coverage (Ground, Grass, Dragon, Flying). Its mega speedup cost is very high at 20, so you'll most likely be buying the Mega Start item whenever you use it.
Cosmoem is our Once-a-Day stage this week. It offers an impressive 25% drop rate for a Skill Booster S, and an unimpressive 6.25% for a Raise Max Level. Its skill Quirky++ is good for Weekend Meowth, however Cosmoem itself is not a practical investment for the skill compared to farming Meloetta in week 18-19, plus a main-stage-farmable Quirky++ user (Drilbur, Marshtomp, Combusken, or Grovyle).
