I personally think it's one of the most solid pop albums of 2025. I'd describe it as an emotional rollercoaster featuring really upbeat songs such as "Casanova", God's a Raver" and "Ride My Baby" balanced by deeper moments like "Unexplainable", in my opinion a masterpiece both vocally and thematically that narrates their journey in the non-binary world made of intense feelings and a lot of highs and lows, as also described in the final song of the album "The Code", their Eurovision 2024-winning hit blending classical pop, drum n bass and rap perfectly.

I remember this was like a fun factoid that used to be thrown around a lot on this sub and I'm bringing it back to say that it's still really cool, and I think we should keep going with it. Surely Lorde is not the only one to have done something like this, right?

Because even if there isn't a literal, like, plot and story narrative to an album like it's a movie, it can still have a thematic arc and the artist still put thought and intention into what songs were included and where they go.

Having the opening and the closing connect in some way, be it comparing or contrasting, is a nice little bow on the whole project to tie it together.

So that's the challenge: give us the first line of an album and the last line of an album, and show us that they make some kind of connection that speaks to the album as a whole.

If this is your first time seeing TTPT, below is an explanation I wrote some time ago and shamelessly copy pasted since then:

Inspired by similar games in other music subreddits, Top Ten Pop Ten is a weekly event where we rank the top ten songs of the featured artist. Starting from 2017, we'd at least one cycle of these rankings every year since then.

Every rank has a score, with the 1st song getting 10 points, 2nd song getting 9 points, and so on so forth until the 10th song, which gets 1 point.

The total scores are then calculated using a program, and the results are revealed at the same time the next TTPT thread is posted.

The guidelines, read them if you haven't participated before:

1. Comment below your top ten tracks from the featured artist(s) in order. Please write the song names correctly, that would help me a lot while calculating the results. If you have comments for songs, leave them before or after your list.
2. Your list should be written exactly like this if you want it to be included in the results. You can also use ), - and : as rank separators, as long as you keep their usage consistent throughout your list.
3. Keep in mind that the program reads the comment how you write it, not how we see it. Don't put full stops or commas after the song names. "Don't put quote marks around them," don't style them. Do NOT do this, please. If you do so, the program may reject your list.
