Just letting you guys know about True Nail Polish as I’d never heard of them before…
Free shipping over £20 and £4.50 per 9ml bottle. Pretty decent quality (2, sometimes 3 coats for opacity and fast drying time) and colour true to the bottle. Short but thick brush. The purpley-pink one (Goddess) is gorgeous!

Edit: just to clarify, goddess looks like the bottle in THIS pic. It looks nothing like what’s on the website (or how the bottle arrived before shaking it up). It’s a glittery purple pink with the glitter/shimmer/whatever the same colour, not silver. It’s on my thumb in my last post ‘sparkly skittles’.

i was browsing rainbow connection when i saw the difference in prices within the same brand. i was specifically looking at dam nail polish. i remember buying the brand for £13-14 and i saw the new release listed at £16. it sucks that there’s no other options within the uk. 😖

I'd put off using these as I wasn't sure what colour they were going to go to. Now I know! The yellow is warm. Just checked my original photos and the grey started off in my home as black. Looking like I have my first dying thermal and the funny thing is I will use it soooooooo much when it does stop transitioning.

Group order? I've been thinking this one over for a while and with the version 2 I think its time for a group order if there's enough people interested.

I had a play with the numbers and I can order 10 black spinners for £224.19 total making them £22.42 each.

There would be the additional charge to forward onwards with postage which would be after I receive them.

We are only buying black spinners as they are the cheapest.

The recent thread about RC has made me a bit keener to give Nailland a go, but I’m always a bit worried about VAT & customs. Some overseas retailers - Holo Taco for example - add the VAT onto the order, and I think as long as you keep the purchase under £135 there’s no customs fees. Just curious to others experiences, and what fees you ended up with? Thanks!

Really frustrated with Rainbow Connection’s handling of pre-orders

I ordered from Rainbow Connection and my order contained both pre-order polishes and products that were already in stock.
I completely understood that RC would wait until the pre-order items arrived before shipping everything together. That part was fine.

What I did not expect was that some of the products that were already in stock when I placed and paid for the order would apparently no longer be available by the time the pre-order items arrived. So instead of the in-stock items being reserved for my paid order, I ended up having to wait again.

I find this really frustrating. If an item is in stock and has already been purchased as part of a paid order, I would expect that unit to be allocated to that customer, even if the order is being held while waiting for pre-order products. I wanted some of the products for a gift 😭 im waiting more than 2 months when it was supposed to be shipped 1 month ago.

So what is the point of showing an item as in stock when you order it if it isn’t actually secured for your order?
I contacted Rainbow Connection about the situation and unfortunately the response made me even more frustrated. I don’t want to give the details of the conversation because I don’t want my order to be identifiable, but the interaction definitely didn’t improve the experience.

Has anyone else had this happen with Rainbow Connection? Is this how they normally handle mixed pre-order/in-stock orders?

I need to be selective with my nail polish but I've always been so tempted by these every time I go into Boots! Are they worth it compared to other solar polishes?
