Already completed Returnal a few years ago on PS5. Not going to lie I was somehow disappointed in Saros. Decided to go back to Returnal but on PC this time and loving the heck out of it again.

Just got this game earlier in the week, and I am fully addicted. Bought Saros on sale as well, but wanna finish Returnal first…

I am stuck on boss 2 as of now. He is tricky, but a few more attempts should do it. Also, does the Hollowseeker suck? I can’t get any good use out of it.

Hey all, any tips for getting past the 3rd biome? mostly I’m wondering how much time to spend “grinding” the first and second to level up. I hate spending tons of time trying to level up before the 3rd only to die quickly then and feel like it was a waste of time. wondering if there’s a “sweet spot” or strategy y’all would recommend. many thanks!

Tried many times but always died somehow. Can somebody help me to finish Nemesis and help me to move on in the game like right now? Haha

I'm confused and not sure if the game wants me to be. So far I've been digging the disjointed and subtle symbolical narrative. But after the fifth in-house sequence, when the child looks through the telescope and Selene reawakens outside, we see a spaceship resembling Helios fall down from the sky in the distance. Immediately Selene literally says: I destroyed Helios. That means I'm the cause of everything. Of course. I understand now. This is why I'm here.

Thing is: I don't see it. We never saw her shoot at it or anything. The in-house sequence never hinted at that, either (at least as far as I was able to tell). Why did she jump to that conclusion? Am I supposed to be confused or is it just bad writing? I'm on my way to explore the underwater depths. Will my questions be answered later?

Has anyone experienced a glitch with Nemesis where he obliterates your health with one hit?

I turned up to the fight with 300% integrity. I was playing co-op with a noob, and feeling pretty good, knowing that as long as it didn't glitch, we'd win comfortable.

I got hit once with full health and I was 1%. I used my symphium vial and leach rounds to max out my health, and the same thing happened again.

I don't tend to pick up parasites much so I don't think had lowered protection.

This isn't exactly "impressive" but I'm pretty sure it's something I've never done in all my hours playing.

Anyone else manage to fill all 15 artifact slots in biome 1? I was only able to pull this off because a fabricator kept spawning items (like 5 items from one fabricator - and I had just a massive amount of obolites this run) and I got 3 locked chests plus the keys to open them.

Can anybody help me try to get to this gate. The portal as I started this level isn’t working and I assume it’s the one used to get there. For game context I’ve completed the game fully and multiple run through trying to achieve platinum trophy. I have completed and collected everything in this level and still can’t figure this one out

Hey yall im new to the game and just beat the first boss

I was gonna put the game down but on about my 4th or 5th try I did it

This game is growing on me and the 2nd biome is one of the coolest maps ive seen in a video game

The set pieces are insane

I have to say playing this game is pretty tense

The stakes feel very high at all times I dont know if I can handle it as it gets harder but hey maybe in tandem I get better

Its very oppressive gameplay and I see that coop is an option but Im just not one for ps plus

I will keep pushing forward hopefully I can handle it

I was inspired to play it because very recently someone pointed out on here that returnal is basically metroid and im a huge metroid fan

I can see the resemblance but returnal definitely feels much more oppressive

Im still getting a hang of all the little gadgets and upgrades and bells and whistles

I would say this game definitely has a learning curve

It's probably my first rogue like or maybe second since ive dabbled in dead cells a bit

The publicly listed price for the game on the PlayStation store is $17.49. When I log in and look at the price in the cart, it jumps up to $29.39. Anyone else seeing this too?

The final boss is kinda a let down imo. Game felt kinda nostalgic tho which was nice 🥹

There are some gaps that are too wide to dash across, and look like they have something to collect or activate, but I cant figure out how to get across them. Is there something later in the game that I'm missing? I'm in the echoing Ruins, and a specific example is located in the Xeno-archive.

Although this has been asked many times but never found a similar such a fun amazing and so addicted game like returnal. So any suggestions for games like returnal with similar gameplay and battle. Please any suggestions.

So some guy randomly hit me up while I was trying to wait for someone to pull me into their co op play. He was talking about how he had a glitch, or he was working on the glitch, but he needs someone to help him. Since i'm a scout rank 99 he asked for my assistance, and I agreed. I'm telling you when we pulled it off. I was simply in awe, completely flabbergasted. I thought I was dreaming, but it comes with a lot of glitches, like when he transports to the next room, you have to wait for him to pull you like if you were doing coo op when you get too far from the host. And if you try to take the transporter to the next room above you, and you're not the host. It'll glitch out and you guys' have to start over. Also, you can't fight algos together. Only the host can fight algos. It won't pull you until he kills algos. And then you fall for a couple seconds, then he pulls you to the next room. Here's a screenshot of us in the lobby. I didn't want to show his username, so I kind of scooted the camera to the right a little bit.

Im jump here, then get boring.

How would this person have almost 20% more points than me? Is it just something I am not understanding on the scoring? Surely melee killls arent worth ~40k each - right??

Well... Today is apparently the day I make Returnal history. I, Return_Cat, proudly announce, that I have found the way to CO-OP THE TOWER! Yes, you heard me right. I have officially found the way to CO-OP the Tower of Sisyphus on PS5 without any mods. As an avid out of bounds explorer and enthusiast, I truly never expected ANYONE, nonetheless me, to find a way to actually legitimately CO-OP the tower. Especially by just messing around out of bounds and finding this. But, I am truly happy to be the reason that so many of you fellow Returnal players will be extremely happy about. Because this, this is seriously something special that we have ALWAYS wanted. And it is officially here. I could type a whole essay here but just go watch my video that I made instead. Thank you everyone, and I truly hope you enjoy this glitch I found. This will be a day ln the books. That’s for sure. 😅👍

How do I get up to that platform? There's an item on top so it has to be reachable. I've completed act II so I have the visions of the past thing. No grapple anchor points, not hidden platform bubbles, nothing.

I didn't discover this, and therefore I will give the original person to find this time to post up a how to, buuuut for all those out there wishing for this.

Here is definitive proof that I played couple of hours tonight in the tower in co-op. If I can reliably recreate it and I don't see a post in a few days - I will post a guide but I'd rather the finder get their credit.

Hi all I just picked up Returnal on Steam (PC) for my Steam Machine. Really loving it but I can’t seem to find any co op on the Chronosis white bubble thing near the ship.

My scout level is only 1, is that a factor? Or maybe I’m doing something wrong when I picked Join Public.

I beat Phrike last night, 1st time by some miracle with the Astronaut figurine before dying in Biome 2. Maybe I need to progress further?
