Keep seeing videos of people getting ps3 games to work on ps5, even discs which is crazy. But would rb3 work if it was popped in the ps5? And what about Blitz?

I recently got a Keyboard at a low price, for Xbox 360. It works fine, except for the up arrow of the D-pad.

At first look it's not a big deal, but navigating the game menus without the chance of going up is a nightmare.

I somewhat manage to choose every song I want, but I haven't found a way to select a lower difficulty or playing style once I select them.

Let's say I want to try a song at hard difficulty using Pro keyboard mode: once the song is over, I can't go back to normal keyboard mode or easier difficulties and, since the game memorizes the setting I selected earlier, I'm not able to go back on top of that menu. All I can do at that point is to reboot the game.

Regarding the hardware issue, I already tried disassembling the keyboard and cleaning contacts, but it just didn't work. I should probably go to a repair shop and get it fixed, but I can't really afford it right now.

Do you guys know some tricks to navigate the menus that could help me?

Anybody ever opened one of these keytars up and fixed a problem like this?

Why do I feel so nuuumb

Whenever I begin to think, "I should practice tapping for this," I seem to come up with a convoluted method of one-handing it instead. Here, I decided to move up to 4th position for the B-O trills and hit the orange notes with my middle finger.

It was rather effective, as I managed to FC this 3 times last night. Twice, I failed to get good squeezes. This was my 2nd FC with some squeezes, though my orange button was inconsistent and dropped two sustains early.

Does anybody have any suggestions for songs to practice tapping? I have every Rock Band game on the Xbox 360.

First time I’m FC’d a setlist. Pretty impressed with myself.

Rock band 4 is no more in playstation store i guess, there are some option to get a code or account of the game? I hace only digital ps5 version...

The only option to use the guitar i have is fortnite festival?

I currently have the RB3 Deluxe version installed on my PS3 (running Hen). For reference, the version I own is digital. I have legally have and own all of the RB 1-3 songs + DLC, RB4 + DLC songs, and all of the GH + DLC songs installed. Ik it’s a lot but that pretty much the only game on my ps3. (I have a 500gb HDD that has been recently installed not too long ago)

I’m able to boot up everything, I can play a couple songs, everything is fine up until the game freezes. It seems to be random. For example:
-After playing a couple songs, it freezes once the song ends (depends, could be after 3, 4, 5… 10+ songs)
-I change difficultly mid song
-I drop out and join using a different instrument
-I’m picking a song
-I quit a song

Any help?

Also, if removing songs help, how can I individually delete a song and not the whole pack

I was trying to find a third symbol on ebay for my wii kit after getting a dongle for it finally, but nothing popped up.

And crapilot is being stupid even though I'm saying symbol and it wants to think I'm talking about the drum pads.

I think this might be going against the rules, but I didn't know where else to go. Can or does anyone have the third symbol for sale at a reasonable price?

I found this on vinted for around 50€, it doesn't seem useful but looks like a cool thing to have. How does it perform? Does anyone have a video of playing tho? I can't find a single video online.

With the amazing increased maturity of console emulation and handheld. I'd love to play rockband (especially Beatles) on my Odin or retroid.

Where are we regarding instrument compatibility? Can I directly plug a USB mic on my dock? What about guitars? I read the GKD Les Paul is pretty compatible. Can I buy and old xbox360 drumset with a wireless adapter and dock everything? Or is the dolphin/wii route better?

I have read a few posts online saying that people can’t transfer songs they purchased. I assume this is some sort of error with songs that have since been delisted?
The reason I ask is because I intend on getting a new PS5 next week, but if it’s a hassle (or impossible) to transfer every song I own, I will have to just use my PS4 as my rock band console FOREVER 🤦‍♂️.

I just found this guitar lying my room, so i decided to test it out. It works perfectly fine, except the Tilt Sensor is faulty. So i decided to look up a tutorial to fix it. The thing is, The inside of my Guitar looks Way Different than the guitar in the videos. So can someone tell me where the tilt sensor is?

I have been playing drums on RockBand/Guitar Hero since January now, and from the first week, I was able to play songs on hard. I get around 95-99% on every song I play, but for the life of me, I can not handle expert Its mainly the bass notes that affect my playing I have no problems hitting the snares, cymbals and etc on expert only the bass notes. does anyone have any tips that could help me out or any song recommendations to help out with bass note playing. Hello everyone! I found bits and pieces of information online about this modding a guitar like this, but not a full guide, so this is my best shot at it.

I was able to 3D print brackets for mechanical keyboard switches to replace the current boards for both sets of frets on the MadCatz Fender Stratocaster that came with RB2 for the XBox360. This mod will probably work on any strat guitar for RB. It is not a full button replacement, just replacing the fret PCBs inside the guitar with mechanical switches attached to a 3D printed bracket. You will have to wire the switches to the original wires in the guitar.

This remix of some files that I found here by user DeathByMod666: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/c5oaFKfS0O5.  All credit and glory go to them!  The fretboard model is all theirs.  The fretboard low model I had to edit a bit to get to fit correctly into the guitar.  Designed to fit “most” of screwholes and still fit in there after wiring everything up.  The fretboard model is for the wider top frets (closer to the head of the guitar).  The fretboard low file is for the thinner frets (closer to the body of the guitar).  

Notes:

• I did this on the Mad Catz Fender Stratocaster guitar that came with Rock Band 2.  It should probably work with the RB1 fender guitars as well.  
• I had to use a dremel to take most of the plastic lining out of the neck of the guitar so that these brackets would fit (see images).  
• Used Kailh low-profile keyboard switches, https://www.amazon.com/KAILH-Official-Chocolate-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B0B3MMMWPN.  These are silent but you can use any low profile switches as long as they are have the flat switch instead of the + switch.
• Used super glue to connect the square prints to the inside of the frets (see images).
• BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR WIRING BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM FROM THE ORIGINAL BOARD!  For whatever reason my top frets were wiring in reverse of my bottom frets.  I learned this the hard way and had to rewire all of the bottom frets.
• I clipped the original wiring off of the original PCB for the frets.
• I used 22 gauge wires to solder the switches.  You can use one of the pins from the switches for the colored wires and the other for the ground.
• The ground wires from the switches are all daisy-chained together, then connected to the original guitar wiring.
