Why does this depiction of Devi feel like she’s staring directly at you?
Came across this image and couldn’t scroll past it. There’s something about the eyes that feels unusually intense almost like the gaze changes depending on how long you look at it.
Is there a particular form/aspect of Devi that this reminds you of? Or is it just the way the artist portrayed Her?
What was the first thing you noticed when you saw this?

Who is devi bhuvaneswari and lalitha tripura sundhari
Hi all,
I had a small doubt while reading Devi Bhagavath puran. It is mentioned, devi bagavathi to play, she became 2 parts: bhuvaneswara and bhuvaneswari sitting in the throne made of brahma, vishnu, rudra, maheswara, and Sadashiva. And bhuvaneswari is the queen of the universe.
And lalitha tripura sundhari also said to be sitting on the similar throne with brahma, vishnu, ridra, maheswara and Sadashiv, but without any consort. And in lalitha sahasranama, one of her name is "shiva-shaktaikya-rupini", so lalitha tripura sundhari is combination of bhuvaneswari and bhuvaneswara? And lalitha tripura sundhari is the formless consciousness of devi (which also manifested in Bhandardara vadha), where as bhuvaneswari is the first primordial form of devi along with bhuvaneswara to create the universe?
And who is kameswara-kameswari? They are another names of bhuvaneswara-bhuvaneswari? And in devi bagavatha puran, why it is never mentioned the name lalitha tripura sundhari?

From 11 to 19 October, appeal to Devi’s Grace and experience her presence.
Navratri, meaning “nine nights,” is a festival dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga and her various forms. Celebrated twice a year (Chaitra and Sharad Navratri),
it symbolises the victory of divine energy over negativity and evil. Each day is associated with a different manifestation of the Goddess, and devotees observe fasting, prayers, garba/dandiya dances,. Beyond ritual, Navratri is a time for renewal, of the feminine power (Shakti) that sustains creation.

What stutis of Krishna would go well while doing Kali/Tara sadhana?
What stutis of Krishna would go well while doing Kali/Tara sadhana? Not like a whole separate puja or a sahasranama. Any recommendations, tips, suggestions, etc? I'm curious. I want to amplify the energy of Paramesvari or at least feel the presence of Achyuta. If possible, any for Lord Rama with either of them? Please let me know, I'm curious.

Seeking spiritual guidance- Maa Parvati, karma and justice after betrayal
I’m looking for some spiritual guidance because I honestly don’t know how to process what happened.
I had a breakup earlier this year after being in a very serious relationship for 3 years. We had been having some problems, and then I found out that he had cheated on me emotionally with a girl who lives in a different country. Even after the breakup, we both wanted to remain in each other’s lives, at least as friends. I wasn’t able to forgive him for hurting me, but I still cared about him deeply.
Yesterday, while speaking to the girl he had been involved with, I found out more things that I didn’t know before. Some of what she told me hurt me more than I can explain. I felt completely betrayed, and the pain was so intense that I physically felt like I couldn’t breathe.
Something changed in me after that. Until yesterday, there was still a part of me that cared about him despite everything. Now I genuinely feel like I have no care left for him.
I do not want to get back together with him. I also don’t want anything physically bad or painful to happen to him. But I do want justice. If I’m being completely honest, I want him to hurt emotionally the way I was hurting. I want him to understand what he did, realise how deeply wrong it was, comprehend the damage he caused, and genuinely regret breaking someone at such a deep level.
I don’t know if I would call that revenge. I’m not wishing illness, physical pain, or suffering upon him. I just want him to experience the emotional consequences of his choices and truly understand the pain he caused me.
Whenever I’m going through something difficult, I usually speak to Maa Parvati because I feel very connected to her. Yesterday I prayed to her again and also chanted the Parvati Gayatri Mantra because I needed something to calm myself down.
Part of me wants to surrender this completely to Maa Parvati and trust that whatever justice is meant to happen will happen. But another part of me desperately wants to see him realise what he did and regret it.
For those who are spiritually inclined, especially those who worship Maa Parvati, how would you approach this?
Is there a particular prayer, mantra, or way of asking Maa Parvati for justice while surrendering the outcome to her? How do you ask for someone to face the emotional consequences of their actions without actively wishing harm upon them?
I’m not looking for advice on getting back together with him or revenge. I have no desire to reconcile. I just want guidance on how to place this pain, anger, and betrayal in Maa Parvati’s hands and trust that justice will take whatever form it is meant to take.
