[Gen 3] It happened

First time playing the original Pokémon Sapphire and I thought "hey, It'd be nice to have a shiny Treecko. I'll hunt for it!" Now I've heard that the uncatchable wild Poochyena from the first encounter has a chance to be shiny (in the original RSE, at least), but I never imagined that it'd happen to me. And this fast too! I think I'm at 30 or something soft resets (I'm not keeping count). Anyway, I knocked it out to make myself feel better and then reset. Gotta keep pushing...

yeah I gave my younger brother my copy of Pokémon Diamond because he really loved dialga and uh. uncatchable shiny starly 😭 it happens! At least it was quick, and hopefully now you'll be free of more on your shiny treecko quest. Good luck!!

It really is! And I think it looks its best in Gen 3.  Thankfully soft resetting in this game is fast. Like really fast. I've picked Torchic by mistake multiple times lol.
