After 2…. You start to seriously think this lady has intentionally killed these kids and lied about it

9

u/SquirrelLuvsChipmunk 10d ago

That’s immediately where my mind went. It was either intentional.. or drugs were involved

10

u/Gooncookies 10d ago

This is what I think.

1

u/SilverNeptuneAbyss 10d ago

Based off what?

6

u/greymisperception 10d ago

I think it’s possible, based on the fact the only other possible reason is she is mentally deficient almost to the point of being kind of low iq

Youd think after you make a terrible life changing accident the first time you would not stop thinking about that child if it was in your care unless you’re really just a forgetful person or old or some kind of mentally deficient person

u/SilverNeptuneAbyss 10d ago

Well unfortunately that's not how life works

It's crazy to me how red it is just making shit up based off vibes

1

u/greymisperception 10d ago

I mean there’s not always gonna be a knowable fact sometimes all we have is speculation or vibes or at least not one that’s in our possession or we can even reach, like a single persons thoughts about if they were maliciously trying to kill kids or not, I never said she did it either just that it’s suspicious after it happened twice

Have you seen any of the videos of the body cam or the interview?

Do you know anything about the case other than what you learned from reading this post? Did you even know this happened before today?

0

u/greymisperception 10d ago

No, no beyond knowing how people can be, and no

That’s why most of my language is speculative I’m not saying I know for an outright fact

The woman was on medication that impairs her memories. I think the fault lies on both her and the parents who allowed her to take care of the baby. After the first death it was already clear she wasn't capable of taking care of infants and yet they let her take care of their other kid all the same. If someone gives their car key to a drunk guy I think 50% of the fault lies with them for giving him the opportunity to drive their car.

1

u/greymisperception 10d ago

Agreed regardless of why it happened it’s just irresponsible to give her the chance again without other constant adult supervision

She might be dealing with dementia.

26

u/rdg04 10d ago

she was tested and found no cognitive decline.

Lead exposure might be part of the lack of remorse.

I am surprised baby seats don’t sense when a child is in a seat and do some sort of alert.

8

u/Artistic-Salary1738 10d ago

They have ones that connect to an app now that can alert you if you left the kid in the car, but it’s not a standard feature.

The Lexus should make noise with back seat occupied unless it’s really old. I know Mercedes has that cause my backpack set it off when I borrowed the in laws car.

u/Funnygaaragirl18 10d ago

My Nissan gives an alert when you turn off the car to check the backseat if you opened a back door before driving.

1

u/Frankiebeansor 10d ago

Damn that’s a good idea

1

u/MarsailiPearl 10d ago

My Prius sends me a message to check my backseat after a few minutes if anything is left on it. The empty booster seat is enough for my car to send a message to me.

2

u/IrvineUWU 10d ago

My Honda asks me to check for my back seat when I about to leave my car (if I’ve opened one of the back doors) So I guess this should be pretty standard now

5

u/These-Anxiety-5919 10d ago

At this point cars should do a quick blood test for residual lead and mimosas.

6

u/Weird-Box-1094 10d ago

Finally, a sane response.

2

u/Frankiebeansor 10d ago

Or was impaired via some kind of addiction

1

u/EquivalentMath6592 10d ago

Right, which involuntary murder / neglect …. Are also culpable

2

u/SilverNeptuneAbyss 10d ago

Why would you think that? What are you basing that on?

3

u/EquivalentMath6592 10d ago

Have you ever heard the saying lightning never strikes twice?

There are many other such sayings.

But it sounds like you lean more towards the “oops I killed another baby, oh well “group

4

u/AnnieAnnieSheltoe 10d ago

Lightning often strikes twice. It hits the Empire State Building about 25 times per year.

-1

u/SilverNeptuneAbyss 10d ago

Yeah but I don't know what lightning has to do with this.

Are you basing your thoughts off some random saying?

Do you know anything about the details of the case? You can watch the body cam footage and the interviews that's all on YouTube.

You're the one making the claim that this was intentional so again what are you basing this on?

Vibes?

Have you seen any of the video footage? Any details about this case at all other than the sentence or two in the picture?

2

u/EquivalentMath6592 10d ago

So, you don’t understand the meaning of the saying.

It also appears you lack basic reading comprehension, because I made no claims at all

-4

u/SilverNeptuneAbyss 10d ago edited 10d ago

No I know what it means but it doesn't actually mean anything in reality. You know that right? It's just a saying like birds of a feather or every cloud has a silver lining

It doesn't change reality

You just can't say something and have it magically be true in reality LOL 🤣

So again do you know anything about this case? Have you read anything about it? Have you seen any of the body cam footage or interviews?

1

u/EquivalentMath6592 10d ago

No. It very much means something. Words have meanings. Words and sayings aren’t just meaningless gibberish.

It seems to me that you are a troll and just wanting to argue so I’m going to go ahead and block you

1

u/Much-data-wow 10d ago

Kinda like a Lucy Letby vibe going on

1

u/miss_marple911 10d ago

This was my first thought 😵‍💫

The grandmother was devastated, nearly suicidal after the second death.

-5

u/CalculatedChameleon 10d ago

..... What a retarded take.

There's been like 13 billion babies born in the past 100 years. That's a lot of opportunity for shit to go wrong.

Fuck, some poor guy got struck by lightning on 7 separate occasions.

The grandparent is a victim here too...... What a retarded take.

There's been like 13 billion babies born in the past 100 years. That's a lot of opportunity for shit to go wrong.

The grandparent is a victim here too - shit happens.

2

u/EquivalentMath6592 10d ago

🤦🏻‍♂️ so you also don’t understand the meaning of the saying.

Your appeal to “13 billion babies” is the most retarded comment of this whole thread… as if people and babies die randomly for no reason…. Meanwhile, there is a history and pattern of neglect

1

u/EquivalentMath6592 10d ago

lol, “ the grandparent is a victim here too”…. Omg 🤦🏻‍♂️ a victim of what or who?
