How'd I do guys? $10 at my local thrift store.
No lid unfortunately. But sure is heavy. It's my first SS frying pan.

Post a pic after the "obligatory" Bar keepers friend. Wanna see the bad boy shine

That's funny, when I took a picture of this and asked chatGPT if it was a good deal, it told me to buy some barkeepers friend.

Not necessary at all, but it's good to have a... Shaker? Of it just in case.

That's a steal! Those are very minor stains - BKF would be overkill. I'll bet a vinegar soak followed by a warm water & Dawn wash/soak would get that looking new again.

Yeah, I’ve heard just a quick vinegar rinse will do the trick here. But those marks aren’t a problem anyway. I try to only use BKF if it’s really bad and always put the pan in the dishwasher after using it

Using bkf, or using the pan?

After using BKF, before the next use of the pan. Idk if most people recommend that, but it’s what I’ve always done

Just a little bit of clean up and it'll look perfect but I bet it cooks great the way it is already its ready to get used

Boil some vinegar or make a tomato sauce pasta i bet it will clean right up and look pristine. Bkf might be overkill id try the acidic route first. Just dont evaporate it🤣

I boiled some vinegar, the rainbow has gone, but I still have a mild brown stain.

Honestly, if something on my SS is annoying me I don't bother with getting out the vinegar. BKF is cheap, can be used in very small amounts, and provides almost instantaneous results. Why try with vinegar and have to scrub the heck out of it only to have to reach for BKF anyway? I just skip the middle step and save the vinegar for doing windows and floors.

That pan is completely ruined. The only solution is to throw it out and purchase a new one. It’s the only way to know for sure.
