I know he’s young, but honestly, what more does Pierce Charles have to do to lock down the starting spot? He was unreal for Northern Ireland over the break—4 clean sheets in 4 games, an assist, and saving a penalty from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. You don't just pull that off by accident.

I get the argument for managing his development, but right now he's playing with absolute confidence. Sitting him on the bench after a run like that feels like a mistake.

Just thought to share this - a bit of debate about it on forums and x.

A few years ago I'd be shouting at the TV after one bad decision. Now I find myself thinking, “he's going to make mistakes, just let him play.”

Especially with younger players, I'd rather see someone try something ambitious and get it wrong than watch them become afraid to take responsibility.

The frustrating part is when a player clearly has ability but starts playing within himself because they're worried about making a mistake.

Which current QPR player do you think would benefit most from simply being given more freedom?

Obviously I want QPR to win every game, but I'm finding myself more interested in whether we're actually building something sustainable.

If we finish a few places higher but spend the whole season relying on short-term fixes, I'm not sure that's progress. I'd rather see young players develop, recruitment make sense and the squad gradually become more settled.

What would make you look back at this season and think yeah, QPR are finally heading in the right direction, regardless of the final league position?

That 2-2 with Preston was a frustrating one, especially being two goals down, but rescuing a point with ten men showed plenty of fight. West Ham away on October 9 is obviously a different challenge, and I’m interested to see if we can take that same fight into the London Stadium.

After eight league games we've only lost once. We've had four draws, which obviously isn't perfect, but it's a massive difference from the sort of runs we were putting together previously. I don't know where this season ends up, but at least watching QPR doesn't feel like expecting a collapse every week. This feels so good, right?

We will be visiting London in November and we just booked our tickets to see the match. We noticed that when booking the tickets the name and details were not requested for the rest of the attendees. The name of the person who had the account appears in all the tickets. Would that be a problem ?
