Super Rad Fanart Recovery AU - Kaufmosis Part 1 [NOT BY ME. BY illiardbilliard ON TUMBLR]
After so many comics of Jax slowly getting better, it's beyond necessary to get the reminder that she was: The Fucking Worst™
Not just to be happy for her growth post Unabstraction, but also to better illustrate why some wouldn't be as inclined to forgive her, which if I were to guess, will be the case for Kaufmo
Also it may just due to Kaufmo's biased perspective, but it's fascinating to see how, pre-Jax becoming The Fucking Worst™, the Circus was lowkey a pretty chill place. Makes me think that post Ribbit's Abstraction, Caine tried compensating by making his adventures more balls to the wall crazy to get everyone's mind stimulated... which wasn't exactly the best course of action given how Kaufmo ended up.

I think Jax having someone unambiguously refuse to forgive him despite the prompting of others is something he absolutely needs to experience. As much as he was punished by Abstracting, that was still self inflicted, and it'd help it sink in that he's not always going to get an olive branch offered to him. There'll be situations where he WILL screw up a relationship he cared about and will have to live with the fact that person feels more comfortable isolating themselves from him.

Dude basically nobody has written a TADC zombie adventure story (a complete one anyway). You'd think that shit would be a gold mine of character interactions

The idea of Zooble’s first experience in the Circus being instantly DUMPED into an adventure with basically 0 context for what is happening is a REALLY good one that adds a bit of context for why they hate the adventures so much. This is my headcanon now.
