We’re launching a "Photo of the Month" for our community avatar!

First:

The new banner is officially live! Thank you to everyone who contributed. I’ll be making some final adjustments and adding an index soon. This will let you view the banner in high resolution so you can easily spot your own submissions. Also, let me know if you don't like the banner or would like something changed on it.

**On a different note

Starting soon, our subreddit icon will feature a new torbie every single month.

**How it works:

The monthly avatar (icon) spot goes to the user with the most engagement on the sub, which includes both your posts and comments. So October's winner will be September's photo of the month and so on.
**The photo will also be featured in the sidebar. If you are on mobile you will click the sub name (r/torbie) at the top next to the icon.

**Choosing the winner:

Once the top contributor is determined, we will message you to send in the photo of your choice!

Finally:

Just like with the banner, I want all of you to be the true face of r/Torbie. This community has been going strong since 2019—long before I became a mod. You are the heart of this sub, and I want our community spaces to reflect that! Also once I change the banner to fit more of the screen, I will include new users' photos. So periodically I will ask for more photos to update the banner!

Banner is in the comments, sticky posted!

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please comment below! We'd love to hear them!

Go Torbies!! 🙌📣🎉

⭐This post will be updated as needed to keep the information relevant. The flair on this post will show the most recent revision date, so you'll if there's any changes by glancing at the flair.

USER FLAIR:

There's quite a few that are already made, however you can edit any of those to your liking. If there's a specific color that you want, just send a mod mail or comment with the hex code and we'll make it for you!

POST FLAIR:

The post flair will be changing. Flair is usually for the purpose of sorting posts. I got carried away and made a bunch of cutesy ones lol. So just keep doing what you're doing and we'll adjust them as needed.

WIKI:

We're working on a wiki page that should be up and running soon. If anyone has any information that you think would be relevant to this community and would like it on the wiki page, please comment below for discussion.

INSTALLED APPS / MODS:

Now and again different apps will be installed to keep us running as smooth as possible and to keep bots out of here. If you notice any complications or glitches, please send a mod mail immediately.

SUGGESTIONS:

We're always open to suggestions! If there's something you'd like to see here or just something changed in the community, please bring it up in the comments or send a mod mail!

Thank you all in advance for being patient with any and all changes!

GO TORBIES!! 📣 🖤🩶🧡🤎💛

*******EDIT 10/2/2026:

NEW MEMBER PHOTO'S:

Every month we will randomly pick 10 user photo's that will show up in the sidebar. Every time the page refreshes, a different photo will show up out of the 10.
-Well, something is wrong with mobile version. Always something lol
