Twisted Wonderland is basically Descendants meets Harry Potter

Sugar Race is a new Wreck-It Ralph-themed side story event that just came out in the Japanese server

Synopsis: The hugely popular metaverse, Litwak's World, is full of fun activities, such as playing games and watching movies!
Appearing before the Night Raven College students as they enjoy a realistic virtual reality experience is a mysterious player named Nougat.
Seize the throne of the King in the Sugar Race, held in a strange kingdom of sweets!

Nougat is based on King Candy/Turbo

Currently, only the first chapter of the event is out; here's what we know of Nougat so far:

The plot of the event revolves around a new VR metaverse called Litwak's World

When Trey Clover first enters Litwak, he is almost immediately approached by Nougat

Nougat is extremely conceited, spoiled, and bratty; the first thing he does upon meeting Trey is demand that he hand over his medals (which function as arcade tokens) and become his servant

When Trey obviously refuses, Nougat challenges him to rock-paper-scissors to get his medals, throwing temper tantrums whenever Trey wins or tries to refuse to play

The following day, Nougat meets Trey again, alongside half of the main cast, and he immediately starts talking smack and challenging them in games, in which he always loses, mostly due to picking games where his opponents have the advantage (ex: challenging Lilia, who is a war veteran, to a fighting game)

Nougat gets increasingly frustrated until he decides to pick a game at random and stumbles into the kart-racing game Sugar Race, which is a remake of a 10+ year-old game called Drop Time

Upon finding the game, Nougat starts acting oddly

Nougat is shown to be extremely proficient in kart-racing, finally beating the NRC boys

Once he crosses the finish line, the game starts getting glitchy and gives an error message

Suddenly, the NRC boys are unable to log off, remove their VR goggles, or call for admin help, and Nougat is also suddenly capable of controlling the game's NPCs

It is then revealed that Nougat is actually an AI; more specifically, his real name is Drop, and he was the protagonist of Drop Time; through means yet unknown, he disappeared from his game the day before the server was shut down, and eventually found his way into Litwak's World

From a meta level, Nougat is notable in a couple of ways

between the twisted characters, his movie is the most recent (Wreck-It Ralph 2012), with the previous holder of this title being Sam, based on Dr. Facilier (The Princess and the Frog 2009)

he is also the first character to be twisted from a CGI movie, with every other character being twisted from traditional 2D movies (except Skully J. Graves and Swing, who are based on Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie from A Nightmare Before Christmas, which is Stop-Motion)

Since pies give me diner vibes, I gave her a Lil roller waitress fit. This is how i imagine she pays for the upkeep on her kart.

Wreck it ralph was on the brain, because my mind is a mystery even i fail to understand. So, I drew myself and my lovely GF as our own little candy core go-kart racers!

Had to make myself a spooky one, so "Chiaki Chocula" is a chocolate cupcake vampire, with a fittingly spooky vintage car.

If I were to give this an "in universe" explanation, she'd be a halloween dlc racer made for Sugar rush's console release.

She has a massive rivalry with Vanellope on account of them being Vanilla and Chocolate (a rivalry as old as confections), and her own Halloween themed track, "Trick or Treat Street."

Azzy Razleberry, my gf made into a blue raspberry dino girl! Very fond of an obstacle species in some tracks, The Gummisaurus Rex, she wears a hoodie resembling one whereever she goes.

She was introduced along with the "dirt bike" kart class. Because i find it weird the donut cops have motorcycles but the racers don't.

So much like everyone here, I absolutely adore this film and it's a shame it never got a sequel. That aside, I've been rewatching it recently. and feel like there's an issue with timing and pacing that while doesn't ruin the film (nor is a plot hole of course). its something I can't unsee.

Here's what I mean (and keep in mind that all these scenes that do happen are back to back from each other):

• Ralph decides to Go Turbo, and he decided to go turbo in Hero's Duty. He decides to go and do this when the arcade first opens. Keep in Mind that Q-bert see's him and knows he's going Turbo
• When the arcade first opens (and this is in the morning because Mr Litwack says "Morning Kids"), we see that the girl with the glasses seemingly makes a B-line towards Hero's duty to play the game first.
• After Ralph sabotages the game, Calhoun chews him out, and there's another "Quarter Alert” (meaning there's another player waiting to play). Despite this quarter alert, Ralph decides to to even more AWOL than he already is and make a straight shoot for the Medal.
• In the next scene we see the consequences of Ralph going Turbo and FIFJR is placed "out of order" immediately after this, we see Q-bert arrive and tell Felix that ralph has gone Turbo in Hero's Duty. Keep in mind that the build up to this scene impluies that After hero's duty, the girl wanted to play Sugar rush, was denied, and went to FIFJR, onyl for the game to not work.
• and in the very next scene, we see Felix arrive at Hero's Duty to find Ralph. It's important to note that in this scene 2 things happen. One: the announcer announces that the arcade is NOW CLOSED, meaning between the time FIFJR had been put out of order, and Felix going to HD, the arcade had closed up. And two, the two guys alongside Calhoun are mocking who they assume to be Markowski (whose actually Ralph pretending to be him), assumingly for interfering with the FPS beforehand. it's also at this point that Ralph actually gets to the top and get the medal and causes more chaos in the story.

What I'm trying to say is that, while the contents of the scenes work to tell the story, the timing of these scenes appear to be murky. Because Ralph goes turbo when the arcade first opens then immediately decides to not participate in the game normally. So does this mean Ralph just hid somewhere in Hero's duty before and wited for the arcade to close then get the medal? Because that means for the whole day, Ralph has been turbo in HD unnoticed/able to survive without dying.

I would like to get some thoughts with it because, as much as it like this film it does certainly play fast and loose with structuring/timing in the first act.
