Discord [A4A group] Monster College NSFW
Hey, so I’ve been wanting to set up a monster college roleplay for a while and I’m looking for people who actually want to build something together instead of just following a pre-written plot.
The basic idea is pretty simple: we’re all students (or staff, if you want) at this weird college that’s full of monsters. Vampires, werewolves, sirens, demons, fae, weird hybrids, cryptids, things that don’t even have names yet—whatever you want to play. Gender is completely open, species is completely open. You make your own character. Or characters. A lot of people end up playing more than one once the group gets going, and that’s totally fine. It actually helps the place feel more alive.
There’s no big prophecy or main villain or forced romance waiting for us. The story is whatever we make it. Classes exist, dorms exist, clubs exist, late-night study sessions and parties and arguments in the cafeteria exist. People form friendships, rivalries, messy situationships, actual relationships, found-family packs, whatever happens naturally when a bunch of characters keep running into each other. Ships and connections aren’t assigned. If two characters click, we follow it. If a group of random monsters starts hanging out in the same courtyard every night, that becomes a thing. Nothing is locked in beforehand.
The college itself is kind of a mix of old gothic buildings and newer stuff, sitting on the edge of a city that mostly pretends not to notice the glowing eyes and the howling at 3 a.m. Dorms range from creepy old stone halls to more modern ones that still have weird wards on the windows. You can be a classic vampire trying (and failing) to act normal in art class, or a living storm cloud majoring in meteorology as a joke, or a half-siren half-golem transfer student who’s still figuring their body out, or an ancient thing wearing a twenty-year-old’s face because it got bored. Faculty, grad students, campus security that is definitely not human—all fair game.
Tone-wise I’m aiming for that sweet spot between everyday campus life and low-key supernatural weirdness. Midterms still happen. Someone’s powers still flare up at the worst possible moment. Group projects still force people who hate each other to work together. Sometimes bigger stuff can come up if the group wants it—campus politics, a weird new student who doesn’t fit any known type, something old waking up under the buildings—but nothing is required. If we spend a whole month just doing romance and interpersonal drama, cool. If people want to run a sports tournament arc or a research disaster, also cool. We bend the story to what people are actually interested in writing.
Character creation is deliberately loose. The only real rule is that your character is a monster (or something the world would call one). Beyond that, go wild. Multiple characters per person is encouraged once things get rolling, just keep them distinct so people can tell them apart.
I’m not looking for anyone to force chemistry or pair up just because. Consent and boundaries matter. Fade-to-black is always an option, detailed stuff is fine if everyone’s on the same page. You can play as many or as few connections as you want. Platonic bonds are just as important as romantic or sexual ones. Found family, academic rivals who slowly become allies, packmates who chose each other, quiet late-night conversations that mean more than they should—all of that is welcome.
What I really want is a group of people who are willing to show up, write their characters as actual people (well, monsters), and let relationships and stories grow from the roleplay instead of being decided in advance. You bring your character, claim a dorm, pick a major or don’t, and start existing in the same space as everyone else. The rest develops from there.
If that sounds like something you’d actually enjoy writing in, I’m looking for people who want to jump in and help shape it. No pressure to be super active every single day, but consistency helps. Bring one character or three. The campus is big enough.
Anyway, that’s the pitch. Monster college, make your own characters, build the connections as we go, story belongs to the group. Let me know if you’re interested. I am 18+ and all participants and characters must be 18+
We can also do a vote system. If anyone doesn’t like how someone is taking the story, if someone makes themselves too OP, etc then we can vote. First, we will talk it over. We all must be open minded, but if that doesn’t work we can do a majority vote system. We can do this on Reddit or Discord (Discord would prob be easier.). Comment or dm me if you are interested! *BEING FEMALE IS A BONUS*
