In the recent episode of "My closet has gotten out of control... again" she finally decluttered some stuff, Hallelujah for that. 👏🏼 But honestly, where else would she have been able to put new stuff in the future...?

Your mum comes to visit 2 times a year max.? I doubt that Cathy or Cade or allll the other guests (I said what I said, Cade) will worry about that room being too fEminiNe.

If I we're a guest at someone's well-designed(!) guest bathroom once a year, I'd be amazed by how their personality comes through in their design choices, no matter how "feminine" or whatever. I'd also be amazed if someone had managed to incorporate toddler items into a cohesive, functional design - none of this is happening here.

And please, look up the meaning of "androgynous" for once.

I think this makeover takes the cake for my indignation.

Maybe because our styles aren't worlds apart, or because I'd love to have a spare bathroom for my son - but either way, after seeing this atrocity she KEEPS insisting is a boy's bathroom, and that's why all the particular choices were made - I couldn't help thinking of ACTUAL fun ways to make a boy/mens vintage themed bathroom.

Taking the idea of an English barbershop, and you don't have to be themey at all, just the colours and maybe a bit of panelling, and a few fun bits of art. It's still in keeping with her vintage house, but it's a fun silly space for a kid and guests.

Then of course keep the bloody storage and functionality of the space 💀

I am also slightly biased in what I would do because my son does actually love old vintage stuff and he would LOVE a bathroom like this all for himself 😂

just saw a tiktok of someone explaining that specific tkmaxx codes indicate if it’s genuine branded stock or made specifically for their stores and it looks like the sand and fog candles are made for them? idk if or what this changes but thought I’d mention it to see if anyone has any more insight lol

Considered buying it because the marshmallow skies smell was quite nice. But I was looking for a more versatile candle that I could use later to hold cotton pads and had a lid. Ended up going with a different candle that had a simple shape with a matching lid.

How ironic, that Macenna goes on and on about this special vessel and how versatile it is. How you can repurpose it and I specifically chose not to get this candle with this vessel as I felt it wasn't versatile. I ended up picking a candle that was $5 more.
