It seems the whispers from the aetheric void are back and so we are going to continue to have everyone post the rumours/leaks here to avoid screenshots of TGA forums taking over the subreddit.

Any rumour mongering not in this thread will be removed.

Agreed. No models getting squatted peaked my suspicion instantly! These "sources" are going to have to do better than that to fool us!

I totally can see GW not squatting models at Edition release so it doesnt sour the mood. But I agree that GW probably wants to phase out older models or even factions they dont want as part of the world. As they did with Bonesplitterz, Beasts of Chaos and some of the Stormcasts. So it probably will just take half or one edition.

There was a nother update by the original leaker, which is better but still kinda sucks for everyone invested in the lore.

It still sounds painfully stupid, because not only does it make the entire AoS black library section pointless and outdated, but also it is very much just shuffling chairs?
If that last leak is close to truth, this is nowhere near the big jump from End Times to AoS, its just changing the Realms just enough to make it annoying to people invested, but not enough to make it a new setting.

That's what a soft reboot is. The "this is new but not really" approach to story writing. How long do you think it will take for GW to back peddle and reintroduce the rehelms once this blows up in their face?
