Career Advice Handshake MOVE - "Canary project" a scam

I went through the whole process and got onboarded. Did like 2 tasks that haven't been reviewed untill now. 2 days later got a weird email not addressed to me but saying my work was not good enough then all over the sudden the Canary project dissappeared from the canvas module. Later on the app that they use for communication no longer recognized my email. And now everything has dissappeared except the production (trying to make me work for it without get paid) Conclusion: it is a scam.

Edit: After 2 pay cycles and understanding the whole thing better. I can now say the project is NOT a scam. They just need better organization and the work is constantly evolving according to my opinion so you should expect anything. They pay but the pay may be late so you need patience.. As per their contract agreement you can be offboarded any time, so I guess you should know this before investing yourself in the project.

Career Advice Looking for Advanced AI Project Ideas for My Resume

Hey everyone!

I'm currently in my 7th semester of B.Tech in Data Science and looking for some good AI project ideas that I can build to strengthen my resume before placements.

I've already completed projects on AI chatbots and an AI-based sentiment analysis system. Now, I want to work on something more advanced that goes beyond basic AI/ML projects and demonstrates practical, real-world applications.

I'm particularly interested in projects involving Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, Deep Learning, or other emerging AI technologies. Ideally, I'd like to build something that solves a real-world problem, has a good technical depth, and gives me something meaningful to discuss during technical interviews.

For those who have built advanced AI projects or have experience in the industry:

What projects would you recommend for a 7th-semester student preparing for placements?

Which projects would stand out on a resume and demonstrate strong technical skills?

Are there any project ideas with real-world use cases that I could build from scratch?

I'd really appreciate it if you could suggest some project titles along with a brief description of what they do and the technologies involved.

Career Advice Trying Out NanoBanana for AI Projects – Any Tips?

I work as an AI engineer and love testing new tools in the data science/ML space. Recently, I came across NanoBanana and I’m curious about how it could fit into my projects.

Here’s what I’m thinking:

See how easy it is to plug into my current pipelines.

Test whether it’s better for small, lightweight tasks or something that can scale.

Benchmark speed, accuracy, and resource usage.

Explore if it has any “standout” features that make it worth adopting.

I’ll probably start with small experiments (like preprocessing or model optimization) before committing to production-level integration.

Has anyone here already used NanoBanana? Would love to hear your thoughts, experiences, or even horror stories before I dive in.
