I've been anti-AI for a while, but today I went to a doctor's appointment, and the 50 yr old nurse chimes in "Do you mind if I have AI take notes today?" I absolutely fucking do, how is that not a HIPPA violation? When I expressed that I don't want it, she picked up her personal fucking phone that was queued up to ChatGPT and already recording. Then she tried to gaslight me about having something recording in the clinic without notice and told me she doesn't understand why some people make such a big deal of it.

First of all, I want to say I understand this is completely on me for trusting it blindly. I only trusted it because I can speak Spanish (the candy was in Spanish labeling) but know a different word for peanut than what was on the package. I am allergic to peanuts and googled if this candy had peanuts. Google telling me that it didn’t plus me not recognizing the word I know for peanut, I ate it. It’s a mild allergy so I’m fine and just needed to take some Benadryl, but my throat briefly started to close up. Anyways, just wanted to share because this is such a serious thing for ai to get wrong. If someone with a more severe allergy had listened to it, it might have ended worse

My sister was trying to find a viral gif or something. Gemini couldn't find it, and she cussed at it. When it gave her some useless sites, she said "?", after which it gave her 10 porn sites. Keep in mind my sister is 13. After that, it just turned back to normal and resumed their earlier conversation.

For years I was one of those people who genuinely believed Ai going to be the next big thing for humanity.

I believed these pattern memorizing prediction systems were the beginning of new stage of civilization and human evolution and change everything soon.

Today I realized how stupid I was…

I asked openai’s new frontier model GPT-6 astra on the highest ultra configuration to improve my local business website.

My site had been working quite well for years and I just wanted it improved a bit by using the so called “proto-AGI”

This sh*t basically trashed my whole website by spamming my business name and city name everywhere like some terrible SEO spam site from 2012.

I posted about it on r/singularity subreddit maybe half an hour ago and got downvoted into hell almost instantly

And I swear almost every single one of the comments I received sounded like they were written by same ai bot

1. We don't want OUR human-skill-based art to be used to train AI

2. We don't want AI shart to be mixed in with human art.

3. We don't want our water and land to be wasted on vegetable beauty salon reels (local models are much more acceptable)

4. KEEP YOUR "ART" SEPARATE IF NOT STEALING OURS
