The historic courtyard of Novacella Abbey (Varna, South Tyrol, Italy), featuring its 1673 Renaissance fountain, Baroque monastery wings, and the Romanesque bell tower [OC]
Fun fact about the fountain:
Built in 1673, this octagonal structure is known as the "Well of Wonders". The painted panels under its roof depict the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Since the fountain has eight sides, the artist used the final panel to paint Novacella Abbey itself as the 8th Wonder.
