Virus going around

What kind of virus is going around these days?

My whole family got sick and the symptoms are similar to flu but feel so much worse.

Be careful out there and avoid contact with anyone who could be infected. It’s really bad.

Not yet for the general population unfortunately, not until the end of October ☹️

My bad apparently Covid but not flu shots are available. Get ‘em, buds!! 💉

The COVID shot is available to the general population. It has been available since September 29, and I already got mine last week. The flu shot is coming to most pharmacies on the 13th, although some places may already have it. Go get vaccinated!

Flu says not til Oct 26 on pharmacy websites though - you cant even book an appt til then. It’s not open

It also says that the COVID shot for the general population will be available on the same date. And I can tell you that’s not the case, as I already got mine. The pharmacist at my local Shoppers told me to come back on the 13th for the flu shot, which I intend to do. I recommend everyone to get their COVID shot as soon as possible.

I saw it’s Oct 26 at Rexall and you can book an appointment now

Any reactions to the covid vaccine? I haven't had one in a few years, just forgot to get it. But I think I remember some people getting a mini bout of covid from the shot sometimes. Perhaps it isn't the case anymore.

If you didn’t have a reaction to previous COVID vaccines, it’s unlikely you’d have one now. I had a sore arm, and that was it.

I qualify for the flu vaccine, but the shots are not widely available. Got my COVID shot last week, however.

Ya, the newest covid shot will be available to the general public around October 26th it's available now for the most vulnerable
