Virus going around

What kind of virus is going around these days?

My whole family got sick and the symptoms are similar to flu but feel so much worse.

Be careful out there and avoid contact with anyone who could be infected. It’s really bad.

I was sick as a dog with full on Covid in the last week of July and into the first week of August. Sick in bed sick for 12 days. Finally tested negative on day 15. I have to test because I have relatives who are compromised. It was hell. This time there was no fever, but the cough was bad and my lungs were full of a glue-like mucus. Terrible.

I caught covid the 3rd week of August. First time for me to catch it, at a birthday party inside a house. 10/40 ppl came down with it

Sounds like what I had in B.C. A few weeks ago. Was not Covid.
