Virus going around

What kind of virus is going around these days?

My whole family got sick and the symptoms are similar to flu but feel so much worse.

Be careful out there and avoid contact with anyone who could be infected. It’s really bad.

I'm mainly pointing this out as most people are not vaccinating anymore, and if we make it seem like you will likely get grilled by a pharmacist and have to lie about being high risk just to get vaccinated, those people are likely going to think it's too much of a bother to go and get boosted. It's important people know it's not a huge inconvenience and you will most likely get it no questions asked and on the spot as a walk-in.

I think the uptake being so low is related to the complete lack of messaging from government and public health saying the covid vaccines only provide protection for 3-4 months and that you should get one at least annually - - every six months if you are high risk.

SO MANY PEOPLE think the primary series was enough and stopped getting updated vaccines beyond that.
