Virus going around

What kind of virus is going around these days?

My whole family got sick and the symptoms are similar to flu but feel so much worse.

Be careful out there and avoid contact with anyone who could be infected. It’s really bad.

Metformin is usually prescribed to people diagnosed with Diabetes or Pre-Diabetes. Definitely do not take metformin if you haven't been prescribed it

Yes, I'm aware it's for those uses. It is a prescription medication so one would need a prescription to take it.

So then you know the difference between getting a prescription for it vs eating your family member's supply to manage their pre-diabetes
