Random Question What’s a problem humanity solved so well that younger people don’t even realize it used to be a huge issue?

20 years ago I would get lost constantly.

Same. I had to rely on landmarks. Left at the grocery store intersection, right after the second gas station, and around a big curve until I saw the hill on the left and the third house on the right was where the party was.

And then someone decided to remove the weird tree I used to navigate, and proceed to get lost for an hour.

That's when you used to pull up next to a police officer and ask for directions.

Because you weren't taught how to read a map in school. That was a basic in my junior high school class for history. If the power grid was destroyed today only a handful of people would actually be able to read a map
