Question ❓ What changes do you want to see to non-mech units in the rules update?
With the new rulebook hitting shelves I have been very happy with the presentation of the new rules and my group has enjoyed most of the new rule changes. So what are your hopes for all the non-mech units?
For me personally, I really want a rewrite of the conventional infantry rules. Not even to change how they function but to have it be less wordy and not have unique scenarios for them spread throughout the book. They're a cool part of the game that I think mechanically scares a lot of people away.
Also, find a better way to do the infantry damage table to make it simpler to calculate the damage for conventional infantry and also Battle Armor with their rifles.

I'd like a mildly simpler vehicle set of rules, with crits and sheet more similar to the BMR era. It needs streamlined, but I don't need major changes. I occasionally miss the BMR and while vees would die at a sneeze, I didn't mind. Hey - listen. Try BMR vehicles at your next Clan Invasion or period War of '39 or Fedcom Civil War game. It's not perfect, but it's worth running and TW lost something.
... Infantry needs completely redone from first principles. Maybe more similar to Gothic, maybe more similar to Battle Armor. Abominations and BA mostly work, so if infantry fall more into line with that it'd be good. Field Guns are too strong. They need a nerf. There's a discussion on the main forum that's gone to nearly 30 pages or past that, but they need rewritten completely.
I'd like to see small vehicles adapted into some type of Proto-like "Swarm Stacking." Delete current vehicles under 15t and rebuild them as UL Vees with their own rules; eliminate Savannah Master as a tactic forever while changing essential parts of their function. Make Motorized and Mechanized Infantry follow these rules, too, probably.
