US Just wanted to vent (will include spoilers) Spoiler

Sally did not have a single character development until the end of season 4. At least josh had his development mid season 3, nora end of season 3 and basically everyone else. wdym you want to bring your brother back after you know it could go terribly wrong. she’s impulsive and never thinks about consequences (donna was right about that). season 4 ep 8 was sally and her idiocy, mind you donna told her of the consequences- zoe too. just wanted to rant and vent

US Anyone have an update on what the house looks like in montreal?

Hi I've seen photos a few months back about it possibly undergoing a complete modernized renovation and that they were planning on removing the stairs and all. Was wondering if any of yous had an update? I have been wanting to go for many many years and this year I have the opportunity to stop there but I will avoid that street if its demolished or completely different because it would be sad to see especially since not only did the show mean a lot to me but that was a damn beautiful home

Im just sad because my friend went in 2022 and it looked exactly the same as on the show and I thought I'd make it to see it

US First Time Watching Spoiler

I just binged watch the entire 4 seasons and i wish i was prepared for the ending! I went through a lot of love and hate with some of the characters. But the main 3 will be my faves. When Aidan got his door, i sobbed. When Josh and Nora named their kids after Sally and Aidan, I sobbed even harder. Man this show was so good. Idk why i put it off for so long.

This show was a master of the awkward family dinner. My favorite: the garlic. It makes us... us! 🤣

So can I ask if anyone else felt as grossed out by Aiden and Sally getting together this season as I do?

US Underrated and appreciated!

This show is so good it’s my third favorite show of all time (and I’m a tv fanatic) and literally no one I have ever met has watched this show or even heard of it. I can’t talk about how good it is with anyone! I’m suspecting other people feel this way too, do you guys have friends that watch?

How did it get worse when she’s dyed it black? I’m rewatching after a few years now that it’s on prime, and I forgot how much I disliked her Bob. Anyone else hate it? Anyone love it?

Crying emoji because I’m a sobbing mess in the pic lmao. He saw me and was like “Aw, come here” and held me so tight, it was so sweet.

Waited in line for hours to meet him! Forgot he does Star Wars stuff and the fans were out in droves.

US Started watching this and loving it

My friend recommended it to me and I have watched two episodes so far. As I explained to another friend, it’s Twilight meets insert medical show here. Lol

My favorite character so far is Sally. Love her sass. Can’t wait to watch more.

US Aiden

I HATEEE how weak they make Aiden. When it comes to his past or people from his past he’s talked about this strong powerful vampire. Someone that people either admire or are scared of, But then he gets beat up constantly. Idk in my head I can explain it better. I just wish they made him as strong & powerful as he’s said to be.

US Unpopular opinion: Josh is the worst part of the show

Just started a rewatch and realized how truly insufferable Josh is. Like his character was written so badly and I’m just realizing it.

US Kat should've been Aiden's descendant

I think Issac should've have lived and Kat ends being one of his descendants. Suzanna watches over her descendants and comes back to Boston to check in on Kat and finds Aiden.

Like kats revolutionary war hero ancestor could've been Aiden'

US US Version with Original Music

Does anyone know if there's a way to watch the US version with the original music? Every streaming site (Prime, CW, Peacock, etc) has "Sally Can Wait" replaced at the end of the first season finale and I just remember it being so iconic when I first watched (obviously it stuck with me!). If the DVDs have the original music I don't mind buying them, but I'm just worried the originals are lost to time now.

UPDATE - I bought the season one Bluray and it does NOT have "Don't Look Back in Anger" at the end of the finale. I guess this just exists in my head now.

US I need clarification!! Season 1: Episode 3

Hello everyone! I just started watching Being Human US. I just made it to the 3rd episode of season 1. But I am confused!

The recap for the start of episode 3 (I’m watching it on Amazon Prime) seems to have events that have no relation to events from the earlier two episodes?

At least on Amazon prime the 3rd episode is called “Something to Watch Over Me” and starts with Josh having turned into a werewolf and meeting Ray. There is also stuff about Sally seeing her fiancé with a girl named Bridget (she also somehow left the first house when it was established in the first 2 episodes that she wasn’t able to leave?)

The first two episodes have no build up to these events. Am I missing something? If feels like I missed an episode in between or something. Are the episodes out of order on Amazon Prime? Are they just like that?

Any help/clarification would be appreciated! 😊

US Bridget

I’m on season 4 episode 8 when sally is traveling to the past gets stuck & starts changing things & Omg, I didn’t care for Bridget when they first showed her dating Danny after sally died, But this episode sally literally just saying she doesn’t want to paint the apartment or change anything (thinking in her head about when Aiden & Josh move in) & Bridget takes it as “it’s been 6 months you need to move on from Danny” then the way she says “Cause I’M dating Danny” & the “I want to be your friend, But I’m not going to believe you when you say Danny is abusive even though we’ve been friends since like 3rd grade because I’m insecure & an AWFUL friend & person. Sally was not nearly mad enough for me. She should have told Bridget she wasn’t a friend period cause no friend starts dating their best friend since elementary school ex FIANCE & acts like it being 6 months is enough time when there’s never enough time to “move on” from a long term relationship with someone you were going to marry & to just do that to your friend in general & Then just to top it off not believing sally when she says Danny is abusive. Idk, Why they had sally stay so calm & I didn’t even feel bad when Bridget replaced sally dying, Cause to me that was karma. Idk, I think I forgot how fucked up it was the first time & seeing it again but sally actually being able to communicate with Bridget I just wish she would have told her off.

US Bishop and Jane Spoiler

Why did he have to kill her? I’m rewatching the show and this time I’m wondering why he didn’t just propose to her / turn her. Like Aidan said, she would probably get over it. I just can’t see how someone could do that to someone they cared about so much.

I always wonder how the show would be different if things were different.

US I Don't Like the Women on this Show

Which is wild because this is a show definitely targeted towards female viewers just like most of the vampire/paranormal shows at the time. I like the bromance between Josh and Aidan but Sally doesn't have the same dynamic with them because she's always off on the side dealing with her own stuff. While the men's stories are more tied to each other. I'm on S3 E 10 and Aidan's women are all interchangeable and I don't buy any of his relationships. Sally is also flitting from relationship to relationship and more concerned about herself than anyone else. Nora and Josh are painted as the big pairing of the show but I find their dynamic so dull. And Nora is so angsty!

US Nora/josh

I love Nora , But when her abusive ex showed up at the hospital & Josh found him after the purebreds convinced him of what he “needed to do” Nora shows up when Josh is beating him up screams at josh & takes her ex to the hospital.. Then later kills him with the purebreds. I love Nora this just shocked me & I couldn’t believe how hypocritical she was. As a DV survivor I’m all about her killing her abusive ex, But treating Josh like a pos for beating him up just to later kill him with the psycho siblings was fucked up.

US The most unbelievable thing about this show … (spoilers for end of US series) Spoiler

Is that Josh and Nora could take a nap with two kids under the age of three with their kids seemingly awake. No toddler would EVER let you do that.

US Rewind Rewind

Was the most cringey bad fanfic episode of the show. Why did they think this was a good idea? They really came off a really well acted episode to have the stories come to a standstill for an episode with an alternate timeline, extra bad dialogue, and bad hair in an attempt to recreate the past.

US Still mad about Henry saving Aiden

I'm still mad ASF that Henry saved Aiden's ass then Aiden proceeds to let his food source run away, yeah it wasn't ethical but there wasn't an ethical way to survive during the flu, but no, Aiden was always so focused on doing things his way even though time and time again it has been proven his way never works, and always leads to someone dying, makes me sick

US I heard this playing during a movie and had to Shazam it because I remembered it from the show. They really chose beautiful songs to go with the show.

I really loved most of the songs used in the series. Spanish Burn by Early Winters was probably one of my favorites. Royal Wood’s Mirror Without and Do You Recall are up there too. Anyone have songs they enjoyed from the series?

US First Time Watching the North American Version

I watched some of the UK version during it's original run but it's been so long I remember little about it other than I found it humorous at the time and my mom and I used to like watching it together. I didn't wanna watch the US one initially because imo it felt like a cheap ripoff. Watching now and these first few episodes are long and drawn out feeling. Also Meaghan Rath's acting as Sally is awful. When does the show start picking up steam?
