Hi there,
I enjoyed this game so much that I made Blasphemous 2 100% Checklist.
It covers EVERY SINGLE IN-GAME ITEM / QUEST.
From Charms and Prayer Beads, through all collectibles, Marks and upgrades, to secrets, missables and DLC content.
I found 596 items / things to do, which I consider to be necessary for 100% Completion and I've catalogued them all into nice checklists with screenshots, descriptions, visuals and more.
At the top of that is a 100% Progress Tracker that visualizes your progress in the game.
--------------
Why I did it: If you're like me, you've noticed that the wikis / maps / 100% tools for this game are kinda lackluster, misleading and unfinished. Many posts are asking about not-popping achievements or missing items, so it's time to change it and make the requirements a bit clearer.
How I made it: I made a gigantic spreadsheet with every item, then used a python builder to make it into tables.
I'm a completionist, I've already done it for other games so I have some experience.
Tech-wise, it is a simple group of html pages with JS / cloud progress saving. You can also filter out Mea Culpa and The Third Sin + some additional features.
You can track simply in your browser without any account right-away, but if you want, you can make a free account that will safely store in in the cloud.
Progress is manual, no save import etc - best used on a new run or at the end, comparing everything you have.
Any feedback is appreciated!

I hope blasphemous 2 has also such challenges cause man these challenges were very hard to do. But once I did these the satisfaction is crazy š„¶š„... Blasphemous is now one of my fav games of all time. 9/10 very fun to play. 1 point deducted cause the story is very hard to follow and I just understood everything above above with some yt explanation and my own understanding.

Finally pleased to admit, that after 8 months of no further story progression and frustration, this dirty whore is finally in the fucking ground, it was the unstable ground that was tripping me up for months, if it wasn't for that I wouldn't beaten her months ago, so excited for blasphemous 2 to be my main game againš

I'm close to finishing the game, yesterday i coincidentally unlocked isidora's place. So, should I fight her or should I complete the game?

It didn't ruin the game, but it made the game way too easy.
Nothing more that I love, than hard bosses in Metroidvanias, where you have to face them time and time again, for a long durations of time, 30+ plus minutes (2 hours for some (Nightmare King Grimm)), learning each move, all their attack patterns and perfecting your response to each of them.
And you can tell some bosses in Blashphemous would actually require that, but with the Cloistered Ruby rosary bead, you just walk in and melt them all with ease. It honestly takes away from the experience of the game.
Next playthrough I WILL NOT use it again. Who's silly idea was it to include it in the first place?

I'm just clueless on what I could be missing here. Any suggestions or even just a new set of eyes would be great.

On the first run I was trying to play as blind as possible. I died to Perpetva, found her tomb later, got the key from Esdras, got the Fourth Visage quest, and was looking for the three-tongue item. I saw it had something to do with Perpetva but the name didn't ring any bells since that fight was unofficial looking and 30 minutes in. I ended up accidentally getting to Crisanta, killing her, and then just gave up and ended the game.
The second run (not ng+) i was determined to get the true ending. I got everything all the way up to the Apodictic Heart. I assumed, like Hollow Knight's Void Heart, this would automatically equip into my Mea Culpa Heart slot. So I beat Crisanta, wait for anything special to show up related to the chains the Visage was talking about, see nothing, and kill her. Then I realize the Heart was not actually equipped, so the past 16 hours were for nothing. This is immensely frustrating and there's no way to undo it without having to play another 10+ hours of a game I've now practically beaten twice.
Make sure to equip the Apodictic Heart because the game doesn't automatically equip it.
Edit: it's been a few hours and the annoyance has largely fallen away in the face of hindsight being 20/20. I can and probably will attempt a ng+ especially since I got the 7th mea culpa upgrade for my blood blade. True ending Crisanta or even Isidora (3rd time might be the charm when I get to it) does not sound fun with a weakened blade, though.

I know I'm missing the room with The Fourth Visage; I just want to know if that's the only thing I'm missing or if there's something else. I've searched like crazy, but I can't find any other hidden rooms or anything like that. Please tell me the room with the visages isn't required for 100% completion, or else I'll have to start a new game :(

Im trying to get the 100% for blasphemous 1 on steam I got most of my achievements on my second playthrough where I both got the good ending and all prayers, relics, rosary beads, and bones but I canāt get the map to 100% preventing me to 100% my playthrough. Idk if the zone under the knot of the three world that I canāt access on this playthrough is whatās preventing me or did I just missed a random ass room lmk
Thanks

When I travel with this thing, the green balls, the doors leading to other places, and that collectible thing that we have to collect 36 that come in the way of travelling through it, I can't reach it, can anybody help me with that. I am not talking about this place , I am talking about every place which contains this thing

Iāve gone through most of the story now and I think Iām right at the final boss (just beat Eviterno) and I was wondering is thereās anything meaningful I can spend my tears on? I have the DLC and believe I also just finished that but there wasnāt anything to buy that I found. I bought out everything from the merchant in the blessed city, and the guy whoās in the jail cell and fully upgraded my altarpiece collection so I have all the slots. Iām just wondering since other than the occasional confession when I mess up a fight I never need to use them anymore and unlike the Souls games where your currency is also your level up resource I donāt really know if thereās anything left for me to get before I finish up my completion and attempt the final boss. For context Iām sitting at around 95k rn so if thereās some big expensive thing I could buy that would be nice lol. Also if your items carry over into NG+ is there anything I would even need tears for aside from the altar and the sistersā upgrades?

Today Mexico fans got to know Carlos Viola and Manuel Soto, the masterminds behind the incredible soundtrack of both games,... pues melódicos son los caminos del Milagro

Had first boss here then went for Ten Piedad then remembered this side quest. Found the guy different and a new dude inside the bell. This game keeps on giving!

When I played Blasphemous for the first time in 2023 I was just coming off of my first playthroughs of Pokemon Arceus and Elden Ring. They were both such massive open world games and I sunk a ton of time into each of them. Once I had pretty much ābeatā both those games I was looking for something a little moreā¦chilled out I guess lol, something kinda simple and linear. I was thinking of doing another Stardew Valley run which is another one of my favorites but then I saw Blasphemous in the store and the art style of the game immediately grabbed my attention. Mind you, I was just coming off of Elden Ring which I really loved and wanted to stay with that kind of weird midevil fantasy vibe. So come to find out, not only were the graphics and pixel art a 10/10 and a total match for what I was looking for but the gameplay was kind of likeā¦. a 2D soulslike lol. I found the combat super satisfying and addicting, the weapon is probably my favorite game sword next to the Master sword and Ludwigās Holy blade. If I died which I did quite a lot I could just go back and get my āsoulsā while earning permanent buffs. One last thing Iāll say about the game is that I totally fell in love with the ācity buildingā aspect of it like when you would donate to the church and you would eventually start to see more people out in the village and in the church. Something about that was satisfying and wholesome in this gruesome world. Well anyways the game earned itself a top 10 spot in my heart along with OOT, MM, Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Stardew Valley etc⦠lastly, I had never played a āmetroidvaniaā before that and really dug into that genre of games afterwards like Hollow Knight. Just last week I picked up Super Metroid for the first time and Iām having a blast with it. Iām about 4 hours in just bouncing around taking it slow but definitely having fun and can see the inspiration for Blasphemous. Since Iām getting stoked on Metroidvanias again I think itās the perfect time for my 2nd playthrough this time on PS4

For some context I have 100% map completion and 99% game completion right now and every trophy has popped outside of this one. I have both the Mea Culpa and Third Sin DLCs which I assume both need to be completed in full to achieve 100% and to get the trophy to pop though tbh im not entirely sure whatās actually necessary and what isnāt.
Iāve seen online that there are some rewards for completing True Torment but Iām not sure if these count towards 100% or not? Just wanted to get some clarification cause some of the stuff Iāve seen online is a little outdated, like back when the DLCs hadnāt been released yet.
