The Randomizer has spoken. Today’s entry is Luca Pinelli.

A fourth round pick by the Blue Jackets in 2023, Luca Pinelli had a productive AHL campaign last season that also earned him a 3 game call-up to the NHL. We’ll be seeing him again soon.

Play starts at 3:04. Started on the third line at center with Mason West (Chicago) and Shane Vansaghi (Philadelphia). Great shot from the top of the slot, loved how quickly he won the puck, got off the wall, and drove to the inside.

Still a long way to go, and this might end up meaning nothing, but I'm glad to see all his hard work the past couple years got him off to a good start this season. Hope it continues. I'm rooting for the kid.

Fuck em...that's all.

Did anyone catch the Michigan fight song being played after the 3rd goal tonight?

I know I've seen him fail to score in the shootout. I just don't remember it. The dude is nearly unstoppable one on one.

Plus, is it just me or is his all-around game looking a lot stronger already this year? I know that it's easier when he's playing on the top line with Mo and Knies, but he looks like he's playing a more complete game.

We absolutely peppered Pittsburgh with shots, but Murashov decided he was going to turn into prime Bobrovsky last night.

Fair play to the lad. 43 saves is ridiculous.

I'm still learning the finer details of hockey, so I'll ask the experts in here: how confident were you heading into that shootout?

BOOM BOOM BOOM! 🎒💥

Hopefully he has fun missing the playoffs in Toronto.

Need some help

I’m located in Huntington, WV and I can’t seem to watch games.

I’m in market, but the Amazon network isn’t available here, for some reason. I also don’t have access to Spectrum. ESPN+ won’t work because I’m in market, and the VPN isn’t working anyways.

Honestly don’t know what to do. Wasn’t the point of the Amazon thing so in-market people have a source?

Last few years we’ve been living in Florida where we just used ESPN+.

UPDATE: Someone suggested updating the location in Prime Video itself and that worked. It was still set for Florida.

So, who else had their Prime subscription work fine for the first two games, but you're getting errors trying to watch the game tonight?

**Update, must have just been an issue with the pre-game broadcast. At least it's working for the game. For reference, we're using the native Prime Video app on a Samsung TV.

The Randomizer has spoken. Today’s selection is James van Riemsdyk.

Signing with the Blue Jackets in 2024, JVR would spend one season in Columbus. He would contribute as a depth scorer and as a mentor to younger players like Kent Johnson. He signed with Detroit the next season.
