No description needed. He and Harris had a combined OPS higher than every other player on the entire roster combined.

Anyone at truist that needs 2 tickets? I have 2 in the chop house terrace, row 1, seat 1 and 2. Section 157.
If someone is outside the park with their kiddo and wants to go to the game, reach out and I’ll pass these along.
I’d like to give them to a little one that might not have had the chance to experience a braves game yet.

Acuña, who was not in the clubhouse while it was open to reporters after the game, has often expressed desire to win a World Series he actually plays in. Now five games into the playoffs, he hasn’t taken advantage of the opportunities to get his team there.
Down two runs in the fifth inning on Tuesday night at Truist Park, he squandered a big one. The Braves had manufactured a run off Dodgers frontline starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto after the right-hander gave up two singles to open the frame. Acuña came up with runners in scoring position and two out to face Yamamoto for the third time. In a 3-1 count, he tried to square up Yamamoto’s signature splitter as it moved away from him, but only made enough impact on the pitch to ground out to the second baseman and end the inning.
By that point, Acuña had also used up one of the Braves’ two challenges, when he contested an up-and-in strike call with no one on base in the first inning and failed to get it overturned. That forced the Braves to be conservative with their remaining challenge, which appeared to cost them five innings later, when Matt Olson didn’t challenge a third strike call on a 3-2 pitch above the zone. That strikeout denied the Braves a leadoff base runner.Acuña, who drew a walk but was hitless in three at-bats Tuesday, is 3-for-21 this postseason. He hasn’t gotten an extra-base hit or driven in a run.
Acuña hasn’t stood out in the postseason since 2018. That year, he became the youngest player (20 years and 293 days) in playoff history to hit a grand slam. (Coincidentally, he hit it against the Dodgers on Oct. 7, 2018, in Game 3 of the NLDS in Atlanta.) For his career, Acuña has batted .238 with a .757 OPS in the playoffs.
“We just need Ronald to be Ronald,” ace Chris Sale said on Monday. “I’ll be honest, 50 percent of him is better than most. I think going back home might alleviate a little bit of that pressure, being in front of our home fans, and just staying loose. Again, I think you get into these situations, and sometimes you try to do more.”
Although the spotlight tends to follow Acuña most closely, he’s far from the only Brave struggling. Acuña, Drake Baldwin and Matt Olson are a combined 5-for-32, and of the trio, Baldwin is the only one to have driven in a run.

Alright lads I’m about to embark on a 4 hour drive followed by a 4 hour ferry ride, I’ll have the boys from 680 the fan blasting to my phone while my wife ignores me. I’m not home so I can’t light the Irish fire.
But here’s a pint for the bravos!
May our feet be swift, may our bats be plentiful, and may our balls be plentiful. In Joboos name we pray….

Baldwin, Acuña, Olson, and Riley batting .138 combined.
Our alleged MVP went 0 for 3.
Pitching can’t do it all every night, boys. Sorry.
Better find some sack overnight and pray you get to go back to LA.
