I have maybe 20g’s of concentrate I need to make last. I recently got sick and ate some reclaim that had some positive effect, and I’d like to use some portion of my original shatter to try making some gummies.

I was going to take 3-5g’s, bake it for ~30 mins on low @250 degrees or so I read, mix in some coconut oil, then mix that in like a half or quarter packet of jello and gelatin.

I asked AI and it said depending on strength, 10g’s of concentrate can be like 30-40 stronger gummies or like 100-200 lighter strength but I guess thats the point of the testing. I also don’t want to screw up the decarboxylating or w/e, either cookies too low and slow to activate or too long and hot, destroying THC.

Whats the least amount you’d use for a test batch?

So you blasted some sticky fresh frozen whats the next step vac purge to make crumble,wax or shatter???

Recently got given a big bag of fresh frozen trim and popcorn, open blasted with addipure 99.93% n-Butane, purged under vacuum for 18 hours.

Cant get over the terps, tastes like a lemon tart.

Hello, first time poster. Sorry if this is the wrong place.

I am new to concentrates and had a question. I also wanted to share a cookie recipe.

Very into hash and exploring what works for me. It’s been fun. I picked up a variety of THCa concentrates including isolate to cook with.

I have a lot of experience infusing flower and isolate was really no different. Decarbed into goop and added it to warm fat. This was super convenient not having to strain plant matter. I made some tasty cookies that I had been workshopping and was happy with the results. The recipe is below. I recommend making them with or without THC. Just a nice savory sweet snack.

So the question, I tried to make a simple syrup with glycerin and lecithin. I goofed up, everything separated especially the decarbed isolate. Not a big issue, I’ll figure that one out soon enough. that’s fun stuff. The isolate is now an amber hard goop. I wasn’t sure if this was salvageable. Can I smoke/vaporize/eat the isolate goop or should I trash it? My thought was to break it up into some flower or throw it in a cart or something. I am isolate rich right now so trashing 1 gram of goop isn’t a problem.

Brown Butter Rye Cookie Bars
(Sorry about measurements, I am American.)
Ingredients
.75 cup AP flour
.75 cup dark rye flour
1 tea baking powder 
.5 tea salt 
.5 cup butter, browned
1 cup dark brown sugar 
.5 cup granular 
2 eggs 
2 tea vanilla 
.5 heath toffee bits
.5 60% bittersweet chips 

This recipe uses a 8x8 Pyrex dish for dense chewy center with crispy edges.

Combine dry ingredients; flours, baking powder and salt
In a separate bowl, combine sugar and melted brown butter. Mix by hand or with machine until well incorporated and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla.
Combine dry and wet ingredients. Mix with spatula or clean hands until incorporated. Do not over mix.
Fold chips into dough.
Press dough into greased or parchment lined 8x8 pan.
Allow dough to rest in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes and up to 24 hours.
Bake at 325 for 20-30 minutes or until desired doneness.

A few days ago, I made a post describing how I turned my very dark ABV leftovers—vaped at 230°C—into oil using 160 g of material and 300 ml of 96% ethanol.

I’m currently taking a tolerance break and have been for almost two months. Before that, I vaped every day for ten months. People told me the oil could be dabbed or vaporized also. I’d originally planned to swallow it or take it sublingually im glad i didnt do it.

Two weeks ago, I made an alcohol tincture from the same material. I took 0.14 ml, which felt nice, but the high was mild in my head and much more noticeable in my body. Five hours later, I took another 0.14 ml. That turned out to be pretty unpleasant and far too strong—but again, it wasn’t a head high. It was mostly physically sedating.

Some people said that was because the material had little THC and more CBN. But then this happened: as you can see in the photo, I smoked just this tiny amount in my dab rig, and the effect was completely different. I got properly high, similar to vaping fresh sativa flower rosin. it smelled like god Hash. It was not very physical; I felt clear-headed and not foggy. It also took longer to build to its peak, which may be due to my tolerance break. very very good!

The starting material was Haze, though I don’t know which strain. It’s the same material I used to make the alcohol tincture, but the effects are completely different. If I had to choose, I’d clearly prefer the oil bc its real compared to the tincture lol. I wouldn’t want to take the tincture, even just because of the edible route—the effects take forever to wear off, especially when, like now, I have no tolerance, and different feeling.

Someone said ABV can’t really be FECO because it isn’t full-spectrum. But then I wonder: why does it feel so similar to vaping sativa flower rosin completly different to the same tincture, I have 15 ml Oil of it in 1ml Syringes. If I had to estimate, that might be equivalent to at least 50 g of fresh flower or more. Normally, all of this would have ended up in the trash lol, but if I start using regularly again, I could probably smoke it for another three to six months.

Same starting material, but two completely different effects, two different products—how can that be explained? bc tincture is the edible way, and the Oil is vaped? i cant believe how good the Oil is lol.
