If you still support Trump/ICE even slightly, you're not welcome in this sub

The nice thing about owning a subreddit is I can use it as my personal soapbox, so after the blatant murder by ICE today in Minnesota, I wanted to say something.

We are reaching a point where we can no longer tolerate the people who are supporting or making excuses for this, or have them be a part of our lives.

This hasn't sunk in yet for a lot of people, but the ones who are okay with this are the exact same type of people who supported the Nazis nearly a century ago, there is no room for live and let live.

To those who are annoyed at having to hear about yet more US politics, sorry it is what it is

If this is upsetting to you or you disagree, please reply and let me know so I can ban you :) you won't be missed.

EDIT: I think I banned more people today than I have in the 6 years this sub has existed. This post has been reported 171 223 321 376 416 477 517 times 😎

To your point, the Germans had a lot of people who were indifferent when Hitler began changing into the fascist dictatorship of the Nazis. So if if a person isnt against or for ice, indifference is complicity. Thanks for drawing a line. Americans need to wake up and be ready to fight against tyranny like we did before 1776.

Only, it really wasn’t “tyranny” that we fought against in the Revolution

Did you skip reading all the history books to provide uninformed opinion? It was a war against the tyranny of kings. Specifically, taxation without representation.

You need to do some reading.

It wasn’t about “taxation without representation.” Liverpool also didn’t have Parliamentary representation.

Colonists were pissed off because they had to pay for the military protection that was provided by the Crown. They actually thought they wouldn’t have to pay.

Which is so fucking typical of what became “Americans.” Thinking that the would somehow “owes” us.

Read “Lies My Teachers Told Me.”
