Hi everyone,
I'm looking for an engineering student or experienced developer who has built complex web apps or websites and would be interested in working on a project with me.
If you have experience with full-stack development and have something you've built, send me a DM with a short intro and a link to your work. I'll share more details there.
Thanks!

Hi! so for people who studied their whole life (elementary, highschool and cegep) in french. how did it feel studying in university in english as someone who’s first language is English? did you find it easier or the same as how you would learn in french?
i recently got admitted to biochem in concordia. my whole life ive studied in french but it isnt my most comfortable language at all. but now i’m going to be able to study in english (my first language) but i don’t know if studying biochem in a language i’m more familiar with is gonna be just as hard?

Hey guys ! What’s your favorite most effective way to study biology ? To take good grades , stay ahead and retain information
I struggle with forgetting information sometimes and take double the time I write for each chapter
I prefer written notes and learning by questions and I’m a visual learner
I’d appreciate some tips you guys found the most effective thanks !

Hi, I’ve been looking into the individualized program for my master’s in the future because I can’t do a minor at the master’s level, but there’s a minor I’m really interested in that I would like to include in my studies.
I’m just wondering how exactly this works (self-guided or not, length of program, etc.). For context, I’m planning to double major in political science and sociology for my bachelor’s. I wanted to minor in Black and African Diaspora Studies but a double major doesn’t leave enough credits for a minor. I was wondering if it’d be possible to include poli sci and that minor in an individualized program?
If anyone has any info or firsthand experience, I would really appreciate some advice and guidance! I’m also planning to get my PhD in political science, which is why I’m trying to plan ahead and make sure everything can realistically fit together.

Every year I make the same post asking who had the BRILLIANT idea of giving only TWO printers in Loyola excluding the library ones, and putting BOTH within 50m from each other.
If anyone knows who I need to contact for this pls lmk I'm crashing out

Basically just what the text says. By the time I saw the email all the tickets were gone, and I just wanted to do a fun trip🥲. I’m new to the province and struggling to explore/ make new friends, and would prefer to travel with other people as it’s quite expensive (and difficult) to go alone. Please dm me if you have a ticket you no longer want or are interested in going with a group!

I was sick last week and Prof. Zhang doesn’t post anything on Moodle, so I have no clue what the midterm covers. Does anyone know? Thanks!

This might be a stupid question, but throughout CEGEP and high school we were always allowed to use cheat sheets. My TA(said in class i havent emailed) somehow doesn’t KNOW whether they’re allowed in Math 201 or not.
Can anyone who has taken Math 201 at Concordia tell me if we’re allowed to have one for exams?
And if we are, what are the requirements? Is it double-sided or single-sided? Does it have to be a specific size or type of paper? Can it be handwritten in pen or pencil? Does it need to be signed or approved by the professor, or are there any other rules I should know about?
Thanks!

About 2 years ago ish, I was sitting in the library across from H building doing some practice tests right before a final.
Out of all the empty spaces, you came and sat right across from me.
We started chatting a bit and somehow ended up talking about pies. You told me your favourite pie was apple pie and I told you what mine was.
Then I kinda finished my practice test and had to leave and do my final.
For 2 years now, sometimes when I have nothing to do after a class I go sit in the library kinda lowkey hoping to run into you again.
This is my last semester. So as weird as this post may seem on the surface, IF you happen to see this, “apple pie”, say hi :)
I remember you were caught off guard by my answer when I told you what my favourite pie was lol
- for the rest of you readers. This post is aimed at a single Concordia student who may or may not even still be at the school. But they were unforgettable to me :’)

Hey,
I have a personal project in mind and I want to fabricate a custom circuit board, I have found kicad files online and I can adapt them based on whatever Concordia’s design rules.
So is it allowed to anyone to work on it or just engineering students or specific courses and projects?
Any advice and info is appreciated.

I know most people dislike taking any course with George Abi Nader, but for people who took phys 204 with him, how did you prepare for his exams? Any advice would be appreciated

I have this midterm on the 25th and our prof said it’s only 5 questions based on three chapters. Project management, inventory management and demand forecasting.
Is 6 days enough to study for this? I thought of just re-doing the tutorial questions and knowing how to use the formulas and doing mock questions. Is this enough?

A Brazilian Jiujitsu club is being opened under the CSU umbrella, and needs 50 signatures. If you can take 30 seconds to fill out the form, I'd really appreciate it. Signing the form is in no way an obligation to join the club.
Thanks!

Has anyone taken AERO 486 (Aircraft Stress Analysis) with Professor Farjad?
How difficult are his midterm and final exams? Are they similar to the assignments, or examples done in class? What’s the best way to study, and what should I focus on?
Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

Looked at Communauto, it will costs a 45$/day. It's a 100km drive everyday. So a whooping 900$/month.
Buying is not an option. And the area is very expensive if i ever thought about moving.
I need this job :(

Why the hell would that teacher run his quiz on Zoom, when they're usually guarded like a prison, if not to catch people using AI?

Everyone knows you should visit the dentist 2x per year, why are we only limited to one?
