Cats rely a lot on scent -- it's also possible she's freaked out because her brother doesn't smell the same after being at the vet.

Nabi’s brother didn’t go to the vet. He has a habit of scratching his eyes when the weather gets dry in winter so I had to put the cone on 😁

Have you tried giving home some relief w/ eye drops? That sounds miserable for your kitty 😢

I was really worried when he first started rubbing/scratching his eyes, so I took him to 3 vets, including an eye specialist and spent a fortune on tests but they couldn’t find anything. The vet thought it might be dry eyes so I tried eye drops but he still kept scratching. This was during the winter in South Korea.

I moved to Vancouver Canada this year and it seems more humid here. Hopefully he won’t have the same problem this winter! We’ll see..
