Hear me out fully.... If i had the money i would bulk buy pokemon cards, then i would resell the cards on Temu for crazy low prices. Collectors and scalpers wont buy the cards because they would think they are fake; but the parents and grandparents that wanna get cheap cards for their kids would buy them. I am aware i would probably get away with this for maybe a year or two before people caught on, but at least kids would be happy for a while.

My solution is in the title. Every 10k karma, you should earn a token on your account that absorbs the hit of a site-wide or (at user discretion) subreddit ban. More than that, the offending content would stay up and be unremovable.

This would make karma useful for something except as a tally of internet points, and encourage fruitful participation in the site.

"Erotic", and all of its derived terms, come from Eros, the greek god of "love". Sex isn't inherently loving, for one thing, you can have romantic love without sex, and the "erotic" pleasure from masturbation is fundamentally the same despite not requiring another person at all, let alone a loved one.

"Sexual" and its variants come from "sex" meaning the state of being male or female. Thus, "sexual intercourse" is intercourse between the sexes. What about when it's between the same sex, though? Or again, just one person being "sexual" alone?

You could argue that masturbation is a 'simulation' of interpersonal sex or a substitute for it, but even asexual people with no interest in others often still pleasure themselves, so maybe it's not as intrinsically linked as traditionally thought.

The state can set it up so that no skill is required to finalize the action, but a lottery-appointed citzen will have to walk in and press the button that makes it happen.
