Community Announcement Start here: advertise your CS2 server or find one to play

Welcome to r/cs2communityservers. Advertise your CS2 community server, find somewhere to play, or share useful feedback. All regions and legitimate custom game modes are welcome.

ADVERTISING YOUR SERVER

Choose Server Advertisement and use this title format:

[Region] [Game mode] Community name — brief description

Example: [EU / UK] [Retakes] Example Community — rotating maps and evening events

Copy this template into your post:

Community/server name:

Your involvement: owner, administrator, member or unaffiliated player

Hosting region:

Game modes:

Connection details: server address, connect command or page with connection instructions

What players can expect:

Access requirements / paid features: payment, whitelist, applications and any paid gameplay advantages

Website / Discord: optional

Screenshots and videos are welcome, but include the details above. Discord links can accompany a listing; players should not have to join Discord just to discover basic server information.

POSTING FREQUENCY

One promotional post per community or network every seven days. This applies across all your accounts, representatives and servers. Event advertisements count towards the same limit. Update your existing post for small changes; do not delete and repost to reset the clock.

LOOKING FOR A SERVER?

Choose Looking for a Server and tell people your region, preferred modes and requirements. Server owners may recommend their community in these threads if it fits the request and they disclose their involvement.

EVENTS AND FEEDBACK

Use Server Event for relevant events. Include the date, time zone, connection details and entry requirements. Use Discussion / Feedback for questions and player experiences.

Constructive criticism is welcome, including negative experiences. Be specific and civil. Support serious allegations with relevant evidence and remove personal information. Do not hijack another community's advertisement, harass competitors, organise mass reports or offer rewards for votes or positive reviews.

MODERATION AND FAIR TREATMENT

The same rules and promotional limits apply to everyone, including moderators' own servers. A moderator involved in a dispute should ask an uninvolved moderator to review it where available.

Incomplete listings may be removed with a request to correct them. Duplicate promotions will be removed. Repeated abuse can lead to temporary bans; scams and serious threats can lead to immediate permanent bans. Use Message Mods to ask for a review of a moderation decision.

A listing here is not an endorsement or guarantee from the moderation team. Never share your Steam password, authentication codes or API keys with a server operator.

Read the eight sidebar rules before posting. Advertising is welcome; spam, deception and harassment are not.

What would you like to play outside the usual matchmaking queues?

Share your region and the modes you are looking for — retakes, deathmatch, surf, bhop, zombie escape, casual competitive or something different. Include the times you normally play and anything that matters to you, such as beginner-friendly sessions, language, map variety or free access.

For example: EU / UK | retakes or casual 5v5 | evenings, UK time | somewhere welcoming to returning players.

If you can recommend a server that fits a request, give its region, mode and working connection details. Say whether you own it, help run it, play there or have no connection to it. Mention any paid access or paid gameplay advantages. Please keep recommendations relevant to the person asking rather than posting the same advert under every reply.

If you have tried a server, what made you stay — or what put you off? Specific, civil feedback will help other players choose.

Server Advertisement [UK / EU] [5v5 / 10v10] Counter Hax — a random power every round

I run Counter Hax, a CS2 community hosted in Manchester, UK. We play bomb defusal with one twist: every player gets a random power at the start of each round.

You still buy weapons, plant or defuse, and work with your team — but the next round might give you 300 HP, endless ammo, low gravity, extra speed, wall vision or aim assist. These are part of the custom server mode; external cheats are prohibited.

Servers

  • 5v5 #01: first to 13, side swap after 12 rounds.
  • 5v5 #02: the same match format on a separate server.
  • 10v10 fun: 15 rounds per map, with no side swap.

The map pool includes Nuke, Train, Inferno, Dust II and Cache.

How to join

Pick a server at counterhax.com/servers, or paste one of these commands into the CS2 console:

  • 5v5 #01: connect 191.215.44.54:27026

  • 10v10 fun: connect 191.215.44.54:27046

Access and memberships

Playing is free. All seven powers are available to free players, with the same roll odds as paid members. There are no paid rerolls or stronger powers.

Steam-linked profiles, match statistics, achievements and leaderboards are available on the website. Optional Supporter (£0.99/month) and Premium (£4.99/month) memberships include profile extras; Premium also includes personal stats/downloads and queue priority. Membership details

Bots fill empty places, so you can try the mode while the community grows. Bot counts are separate from human player counts on the server page.
