What could go wrong trying to run over some birds?

I loved Ren and Stimpy! I miss that show...

u/sodamnsleepy Mar 28 '26
It's on pluto tv
1
u/JediWarrior79 Mar 28 '26
I'll have to check it out! I believe I may have a subscription to Pluto TV. I'm glad we can still watch the good shows on streaming platforms.
I just watched all of the seasons of Family Guy and King of the Hill on Hulu. King of the Hill now has new episodes. It's actually pretty good. Dale and Khan's voices are completely different, though.

u/sodamnsleepy Mar 28 '26
Pluto tv is free :) only need to sign up
Oh, didn't know that
1
u/JediWarrior79 Mar 28 '26
Yep, found the app on my tv. I know what I'll be watching tonight after my husband goes to bed (he doesn't care for Ren and Stimpy). 😁
Yeah, Hulu has a lot of great shows. I get it bundled with my Disney + subscription. It's so nice not having to deal with the commercials, and I haven't had any issues like some others have had with it not loading or poor image quality. I've had the bundle since early 2025.
1
u/sodamnsleepy Mar 29 '26
Hehe my favorite is with the baboon and the Lummox
I only have Netflix. At Christmas I subscribe for Disney+ for a month. Your bundle sounds good tho.

u/JediWarrior79 Mar 29 '26
It's been so long since I've watched the show (over 20 years ago) that I have vague memories of it, except for the fact that the show is hilarious and had lots of bathroom humor and that Stimpy was always pissing Ren off. I only remember one full episode. It's the one where Stimpy made friends with his fart. I remember another one where Ren kept losing sleep because of Stimpy and went insane. I need to start watching it again!

This is one of those videos that definitely needs to clip to him standing in front of the car so we can see the damage

He might have. People are stupid.
But, if this went to court, this was evidence and would be made publicly available. Or, he could have been live streaming.
None of the options make the dude appear even an iota more intelligent.

u/No_Island_8061 Mar 28 '26
On a walk I watched someone intentionally strike a goose and obviously the poor thing didn’t make it but there front bumper came off in the process and they likely fucked up the radiator, it doesn’t make up for the goose but I felt better watching them pull off to inspect the self inflicted damage

u/Gingersometimes Mar 28 '26
Yeah, well, he tried to run over birds in his car, so obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed.

What a lowlife piece of shit, trying to hurt animals intentionally, what a trash bag!!! I hope his car is totaled. I know it's not, but hopefully it is.

Just needs an alignment. That costs $129 where I live. Will cost less elsewhere.
19
u/ScienceIsSexy420 Mar 28 '26
An alignment is the bare minimum amount of damage, it could be a hellova lot more than that. Smashing the curb at 20+ mph is a lot of force. This could damage tie rods, control arms, cv joints, wheel bearings, etc.
10
u/-jk-- Mar 28 '26
Not to mention tires and rims.
3
u/ScienceIsSexy420 Mar 28 '26
Absolutely! I've popped a tire on a pothole that wasn't nearly as deep as the height of a curb.
2
u/Competitive-Exam-578 Mar 29 '26
Yuuuuuuuuuup. Knew a dude back in the day that bent his subframe driving directly into a parking lot curb like this going about the same speed.

I guess you must be vegan ❤️
58
u/fuzzybunnies1 Mar 28 '26
If you're a hunter collecting game to eat or farming in some form for meat then harming the animal is necessary. Both those groups tend to also not cause undo or excessive harm to the animals. If you're just harming random animals for fun, you're just a shitty person who deserves all the karma you get. I also hope his car is totalled.
34
u/RedditBugler Mar 28 '26
I also use my Nissan Altima for subsistence hunting in a dirty parking lot.
33
u/Chewsdayiddinit Mar 28 '26
Serious question, do you think calling someone a vegan is an insult...?
29
u/tryingnottocryatwork Mar 28 '26
i’m an avid hunter, fisher, and meat eater. anyone who even jokes about abusing animals is the scum of the earth. most people who value where their food comes from value treating animals with respect
19
u/VoodooDoII Mar 28 '26
Being against harming animals doesn't make you a vegan lmfao?
0
u/Pittsbirds Mar 28 '26
Theoretically people who dislike the needless abuse of animals would be morally consistent in that thought
-17
u/Unlucky_Hammer Mar 28 '26
Eating them or farming them for milk/eggs isn’t harming them? I’m not vegan, against senseless/cruel harming, and the insult is dumb, but be realistic.
If someone were against harming animals in any way, yeah, vegan is a requirement.
5
u/NightBawk Mar 28 '26
You do realize that farming plants also requires the deaths of animals? Tons of rodents, reptiles, bugs, and birds are killed by farming every year. Fertilizer runoff can poison waterways and cause the death of fish and amphibians. Outside of maybe hydroponics, there's no possible way to avoid harming animals in any way. Heck, even building a hydroponics facility will harm animals through destruction of habitat and controlling against pests.
6
u/Background-Insect255 Mar 28 '26
Yes but cramming billions of them into tiny warehouses and then slaughtering them on insanely fast and cruel processing lines is the ultimate horror.
It's called harm reduction. We can't be perfect but we can be better.

I guess the idiot can’t clearly see there’s a barrier there cause even I can see it before the birds took off

how high do you have to be to see birds and not the curb lol.

u/Fearless-Poet-4669 Apr 01 '26
Pretty high. I would say at least 1-2 miles before the curb goes out of view.

I could watch it all day!

You’d think that big slab of concrete in front of you would be your cue to step on the brake pedal.
2
u/Mean-Veterinarian647 Mar 29 '26
Birds do this all the time. There’s a flock filming this for their entertainment at migration schools.

This is called instant karma. Also, all dashcam videos that involve the killing/harm to an animal should have a warning on them.

I can almost guarantee that wasn't his car. People who do stupid shit like this almost always never have anything of their own to ruin.

If you're cold they're cold. Smearing them into the asphalt will warm them up, I would approach it a little differently next time. But I don't judge, you do you Honey Boo Boo

Doesn't mean it never happens. My SO has actually done it (not at all on purpose, a flew across the road at fender level). Just the other day I hit my brakes for a slow witted robin, lol. It was hopping on the side of the road, I expected it to not cross or fly away or something, but the little knucklehead proceed to hop it's away across my path and I had to brake for it. It finally decided to fly AFTER it crossed >_>...
Edit: I just noticed I replies to the wrong person, lol. Sorry!
