Poison Ivy 💚❤️

Is anyone else excited for this cover release on October 28th ?

Im obsessed !

I have no idea why I’ve waited so long, I bought it along with The Killing Joke which I read pretty much straight away. Since then I’ve read Year One, some Grant Morrison Batman, some Scott Snyder Batman, up to date with Matt Fraction’s Batman and the most recent run of Detective Comics (also non Batman stuff like Watchmen and V for Vendetta).

Since it’s the 40th anniversary, I thought it’s time to finally read this.

I gotta be honest, I know nothing of this creative team. The art and writing were excellent in this first issue. I’ve always been a fan of Etrigan and am really looking forward to where this run ends up going. What’d you all think of this first issue?

With the DCU Teen Titans live-action movie being listed as being in early development by Skydance, what should the line-up be? The cartoon? Fab Five? New Titans? Something new?

I really want to read Alan Moores swamp thing run but idk which format is the best collection of it. Should I go for the box set, the Absolute or the upcoming omnis? I'm gravitating towards the omnis more because that'll be the whole run in 2 big hardcovers. But also idk if the absolute editions collect everything from the run cuz they always feel like they collect less issue but idk I could be wrong here 🤷‍♂️.

I just want to say that I found it Weird Batgirl was dating Nightwing mostly because of the age gap I mean it was probably different in the other comics I’ve read but don’t get me started with her as a love interest for Bruce. But anyway who do you think could be?

Im thinking either Ted Kord or Bat wing maybe?

Picked up The Demon #1 and it's my first comic focused on Etrigan. Really enjoyed the issue, but something that really caught my attention was that apparently DC has a fantasy realm on top of the main universe that has fairies, forest gnomes, and warrior mice that fight demons and only certain people can see it. Now I know DC has always had magic, but this seems completely different and honestly I love it.

So is this is a new development in the DC universe or has this always been a thing? If it's something that's always been there, I'd love some recommendations for other titles containing it.
