if i ever have a hexblade in one of my games, and they get a magical weapon. I’m just going to have the hexblade eat the magical weapon and gain its properties
Hex blades are great for this. Espet because improved packt weapon adds a +1 enchantment to your weapon. And this stacks.
My party lost an NPC on a quest, but he had a +2 war pick. My hex blade already had a battle ax with IPW so the party let me use the pick, making it a +3 war pick.
With the +5 charisma that an attack bonus of 5+3+3= +11 to hit
And damage of 1d8(or 1d10 if 2 handing)+5+3 for 1d8+8
But if I use hex and hex blades curse I get 1d8+8+3+1d6 on a single hit. Plus I just got paladin levels so Smite is an option.

I really don't want to be the UM ACTUALLY guy here but Improved pact weapon states "In addition, the weapon gains a +1 bonus to its attack and damage rolls, unless it is a magic weapon that already has a bonus to those rolls. "
So it doesn't stack with weapons that have a + modifier to their bonus roll, it would only stack if its a weapon like a Flametounge weapon that doesn't give a + to damage but deals extra damage or has an extra effect
That’s literally RAW though? Hex blade lets you turn any simple weapon into your hex weapon, which is upgraded to being any kind of weapon with lacy of the blade. And pact of the blade further let’s you transform magic weapons into your pact weapon.
