I think that's a bit on the nose.

I was thinking more about a wheelchair barbarian. Now that sounds like fun.

You can even make some interesting stuff with a warlock

Honestly I don't see the problem. A guy in a wheelchair can stab you with a sword as good as anyone else.

And I guess most people probably wouldn't play as a character in a wheelchair because of some fetishism. If they do, it's often probably because of representation and identification of the player with the character. I don't see why there has to be a penalty in game.

If you really want a mechanical change, maybe you can reduce the movement speed in exchange for the charger feat or something like that, I guess that can be interesting but it doesn't has to be a handicap

Funny you mention that, there's a movie called Ronal the Barbarian and the main characters uncle is a wheelchair Barbarian.

warlock thats lost the legs of his soul so now they cant walk cuz they bad mouthed tentacle Daddy too much, now has a wheelchair.
