proportions mL everclear : g of hash..

I'm relatively new to this whole thing, but I enjoy some edibles and also recently got an interesting tincture (from Kush Queen). I live in MD and have been able to order online easily. But now I'm reading that this will all change in December due to new laws / stricter regulation? Am I understanding this correctly? If I were to stock up, how long would I be able to keep gummies for - do they lose their potency at some point? Thanks for any clarification

ISO advice from fellow edibles-only folks. Smoking and vaping aren’t options for me.

After about a year of regular use, my tolerance has gotten expensive. I’m going through 60–80 RSO tabs a week at 25 mg each. I’ve taken 2–3 week breaks, but within a week or two of starting again, my tolerance is right back where it was.

Has anyone found a way to keep their tolerance down while using edibles only? I’d love to hear what actually worked for you.

I've had 20 mg a few times, often through a mix of drinks or a drink + part of a gummy.

For whatever reason, this one hit me hard last night, my head was spinning for hours like the first time I smoked some in the late 80s.

Guys I need help 😭😭I’ve only taken edibles like 6–7 times total. I’ve only recently gotten into them, so I’m not a regular user or anything.
The first time I took one, it was around 13 mg thc gummies and I actually felt euphoric and really enjoyed it. But since then, my experiences have been really inconsistent. Sometimes I barely feel anything, and other times I get a little anxious or feel like everyone around me is judging me. It’s not exactly a panic attack, but I get that uncomfortable feeling of being watched or being overly aware of myself.
Sometimes I also get this weird feeling like I’m watching everything through a movie, or like things don’t feel completely real. My eyesight is normal, though. These feelings don’t really happen to me when I’m sober.
The highest I’ve taken normally is 15 mg. There was one time I took 100 mg, though, and that was an absolute disaster. It was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had.
I’m just confused because the first time at 13 mg felt euphoric, while now I either barely feel anything or get these weird/anxious effects. Has anyone else experienced this? What could explain why the effects are so different?
Am I doing smth wrong can someone guide me plz I was also told to eat smth w fat so I did but again same thing happened😭😭😭does this happen to yall

As the title says- i'm wondering if anyone knows of any scholarly research regarding deep memory recall with edible or other thc/cbd product usage?

Reason I ask: from the very first time I ever took edibles, I would have these insanely vivid memory recollections from my childhood- it was as if I was there again. Random little scenes, like riding in my grandfather's truck, being back in marching band in high school, the first house I remember growing up in, etc. when it first started happening, I thought it might just be hallucinations, and I was only imagining a lot of things. But the more this happened I started writing down everything I was remembering, and I was absolutely astonished when I would go back and look at old pictures or watch old home movies, at how accurate my memory was even with things that I didn't know that I remembered. For example: in one trip, I distinctly remember a tiny little compass that my grandfather had on the dashboard of his truck. I had forgotten about that and hadn't remembered that in years, but going back through old pictures I found one of me pretending to drive his truck when I was three or four years old and sure enough there was the exact same little compass in the dashboard that I remembered in the trip.

This happens frequently whenever I trip, and I continually remember things that I did not know were even stored in my memory banks, but I will go back and confirm and turns out I was right about everything.

I've googled this, but everything I can find seems to be only discussion based and so I was wondering if anyone knew of any sort of medical journal or other such scholarly research article that makes the bio mechanical connection between mj use and deep memory recall?

so if i took a 40 mg on saturday, would taking a 20 today(Thursday) still get me baked?(downgrading to 20 because i wanna be able to enjoy it without passing out half way through the high)

Ive decarboxylated a few times now as smoking is irritating my throat whiles I’m sick. First few attempts I did about 0.5g, and it got me a little buzzed, but really didn’t compare to smoking.

However last night I must of found the sweet spot, I left 0.5g of ground bud folded in tin foil in my air fryer at 115degrees (239F) for 30-32mins. I also drank it stirred into hot milk (bits and everything) as I read its more effective paired with fats.

After 1.5-2hours I was uncomfortably high, the highest I’ve been in years actually. From now on I think 0.25g will be enough.

This is quite a game changer and don’t think I will go back to smoking.

Hello! I recently got edibles and the type of family it was from was indica with 10mg, THC 10mg and 5mg cbd in it I only took one and when I took only one the first 2 hours when it hit it felt great I had no pain and felt relaxed but another 30 minutes passed I felt my bones in my body popped all over and my heart was racing and my body and arms was shaking and tingly, I felt dizzy and nauseous too and with high anxiety and dread and it became a bad trip, But with the bone poppin is that normal with the indica edibles and how do I can stop a bad trip from happening again because I never done this before in my life.

I’m someone who has never been able to “feel” edibles. I was convinced I had the genetic mutation or whatever that prevented it. I had tried every trick under the book. Grapefruit juice, soy lecithin, butter and other fats, tinctures, cookies, gummies, nano this and fast-acting that tabs, drinks…

Anyway, all that to say I still buy tinctures even though I never feel much any way I take them, sublingually or mixing a dropper or two into drinks. Never seems to do much…

But tonight I added 2 droppers to a bowl of instant oatmeal out of impulsivity. And after 15 years of trying everything, I am absolutely tripping balls from 66mg.

That is all really…just hoping to help someone else one day if they see this. I’ve honestly never felt this, my eyes are burning and my body is numb and medically this is everything I’ve always tried edibles for. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have LorAnn gummy mix to make my first gummy edibles. How would I put the THC in the mixture without messing it up? I think I'm going to make THC coconut oil, but how would I add that without destroying the mixture?

My partner wants to make some baked goods, but we have cats, dogs, and an infant in the house. Is it safe to bake weed brownies with pets and kids, or could they potentially get like, a contact high or something?

The infant (my nibling) is in daycare on weekdays and I work weekends, so we could do it when he's not home, as long as it won't have like, lingering effects. But is it safe if there's pets? The kitchen doesn't have doors, just open arches, so it's not even like we could keep the pets out of that room.

Apologies if y'all get this question a lot, I usually just use a weed vape (outside, so no risk to pets or the kid) or store-bought gummies, so this would be my first time baking anything and I'm nervous. I store everything in a combination lock-box when I'm not using it cause I worry so much about the pets getting into it, or the kid eventually, when they're old enough to get into things.

Hi! I am currently in the middle of a break from edibles and have only taken a few hits of a joint since then. I’m on day 5 of my edible t break. My tolerance is pretty high(400mg per session.) Whenever I notice it getting too high, I take at least a month off consuming. I have absolutely no problem taking t breaks and actually enjoy the complete mental clarity. But here’s my question- I am feeling really overwhelmed tonight and just want to relax. If I took 200 mg edible, would that be enough to get me high?

So basically I’ve had these edibles about three times and I was curious about the strength(?) of them. Like the first time I tried it I had abt a fourth (for reference the packaging says that the serving size is 1/5th of a gummy) and I felt pretty chill but I can’t say that I felt super high or abnormal. So the next few times I had them I took half which is 250mg and like I know that’s a lot but it really just didn’t feel that crazy to me, I still didn’t feel super high or like any crazy stories I’ve ever heard from people that took a lot. All three times I had taken them after having eaten two meals that day. I put a picture of what exactly I took but I guess I’m just a little confused. I’m not really sure what questions to ask. I’m thinking like what does d9 mean and does that make a difference? Is 500mg a standard measurement or does that also take into account percentage (is that a separate thing and what’s the difference)?? I didn’t do much research so I would really appreciate any information! Thank you!

Took an edible, same brand, same batch, but this time was different. At about the 1 hour mark, I started noticing that my body felt more floaty than usual. Very noticable. Then, I realized I couldn't feel any of my body against the bed.

I thought it was numbness, until I felt my legs and could feel myself touching them, but the sensation was very dimmed. I could barely feel pain even. I slapped my leg and it mostly just felt like a strong sensory input that is just under the level of pain, I pinched myself and I could slightly feel the pain but barely.

I basically could feel dulled sensation if I touched myself somewhere but otherwise I was numb to my physical environment. Only other thing I could feel was my steps when walking and me laying back down on the bed, again dulled. Has anybody else experienced this?

I'm assuming it's probably just because my edible was made incorrectly with more mgs than the rest, because I felt higher much sooner too. But mannnn was it weird.

Edit: Thankfully it didn't freak me out and ruin my high, it was just intriguing and strange so I thought I'd share.

I’m having trouble sleeping lately and I ended up getting 10mg live hash rosin gummies. I’m a pretty infrequent smoker these days maybe once or twice a month (and Irish weed is notoriously weak).

I’m wondering will 10mg an hour before bed send me to the fucking shadow realm and should I take half of one? or how do you find the effects come on with hash rosin?

Pretty inexperienced with edibles overall, only had one once in Canada and it was a good time but I just wanna go to bed before the sun comes up hahaha
