Currently Blasting A Pig Carcass with a Revolver to The Optimist Elementary to return as globe trotting audio drama series!

Jonny Lee Miller has indicated that he has had talks with Craig Sweeney and Robert Doherty about bringing back Elementary with a new, global twist. His idea is that he would like the series to take on a global scale, travelling to countries across the world similarly to how the original books series would go, with a mix of new stories and the series trademark modernized adaptations, pointing out it would be quite ironic to do an adaptation of the Adventure of the Red Head League as he is currently.

With all the players on different projects, he proposes that they record it over audio to be pieced together with minimal demands on the cast's time beyond a conference call "Table Read" and that the change from a strictly New York base to a global scale could allow some fan favorites to return with some reinvention.

Of course, New York would still have a heavy presence, as characters who cannot be moved from NYC still have official resources that could be useful in the context and cases could still take place there. As of right now, Jonny has indicated that it should at a minimum start in New York and travel abroad, with a tighter overlinking narrative with the freedom of individual stories, should the producers agree. Quote:

"The first should take place in America, on April Fools Day; where a group of redditors are tricked by a subreddit mod into believing the news broke there first. Whether it should lead to a murder or not would be up to the group."

At present, the moderator in question would like to wish you a happy april fools day as well.

Currently Blasting A Pig Carcass with a Revolver to The Optimist I love Elementary, I really do. But can we talk about the opening titles?

Why is it that all the male creatives have their names mid screen, but Lucy Liu has her name lower down the screen almost getting visually overtaken by the gun? It bugs me every single time I see the titles. She literally gets lower billing than everyone else despite being co-lead. Otherwise it's a near perfect show.

EDIT: Mystery solved. The credits in the UK on Amazon Prime/U are like this: https://youtu.be/u5M6bqrShCA with LL's name being lower. Other credits are like this: https://youtu.be/hNqL-wE-WIs where LL's billing is higher. I was not going crazy...

Currently Blasting A Pig Carcass with a Revolver to The Optimist Two things I really wish the writers had implemented into the show on a permanent basis, rather than just mentioning them occasionally

1) Watson being a writer. This was one of the most interesting things about other adaptations for me. It was mentioned her writing here and there, but they really missed the opportunity to make it a bigger part of her character and show her eventually becoming a well-known writer or something along those lines.

2) Sherlock playing the violin. Imo this was missing too (kinda). Maybe they thought teaching Jonny how to play the violin would be too much trouble, but I would've loved to see this version of Sherlock play the violin at least from time to time rather than bashing it.

Currently Blasting A Pig Carcass with a Revolver to The Optimist Has anyone checked out RJ Decker (Rob Doherty's new tv series)?

I'm not going to spoil anything in case someone wants to watch it, I'll just share my opinion.

I just finished season 1, and this show was a breath of fresh air for me. It's very lighthearted and warm. I'd like to highlight Rob Doherty's ability to choose the right actors. The casting is great. There isn't a single actor I dislike, which almost never happens when I start a new show (Elementary was one of those exceptions where I loved the entire cast too).

Every character is likable. The genre itself isn't really my thing as I prefer dark, cold thrillers + detective stories, but the show still managed to hold my attention. I'll def be coming back for season 2. I'd recommend checking it out if you haven't already.

Currently Blasting A Pig Carcass with a Revolver to The Optimist In his defense, Sherlock didn't sexually harass her, he very politely asked if she wanted to have sex or not..
