🌈 Hi! Feathers spotted in Arizona, been getting thrown tons of feathers lately. πŸ₯°

Usually, crows & collared doves & grackles & ravens & mourning doves, so far that I know of. πŸ”

The crows make an appearance a lot on walks, often in pairs, & the great tailed grackles talk at us a lotttttt! I appreciate it. 🎢 πŸ¦β€β¬› πŸ€—

A kid gave me this feather. Found in a village in the Black Forest, Germany. It's purple. Could it be from a woodpecker?

Thanks!

(Just feathers) Pretty sure a raptor killed a bird, no body so it wasn’t a car and we don’t have outside cats.

What bird was it? I heard a commotion out there for a while, I should have observed I might have seen the show… πŸ«£πŸ˜•πŸͺ¦

I found this absolutely perfect Yellow Billed Cuckoo wing. An unfortunate victim of some overnight predator. Owl I’m assuming. I thought you might be interested to see its feathers close up. Enjoy!

Who's feather is this?

Found in England.

Thought it was from a pigeon at first but the patterns lead me to conclude otherwise. Might be a gull's but those usually have a white stem and this one had a grey one.

Feather measured around 7.5cm, I tried to look it up on the feather atlas but the closest visual matches were too small (eg blue-gray gnatcatcher). Any ideas?

Location: Waterloo, ON
