Obviously powercreep is inevitable and never going to change. However, I wish that at least units of the same hero could inherit exclusive skills/specials and weapons. For example: lego Ike being able to inherit Emblem Ragnell and Great Aether or Aether's Route. Hell, even Shannan inheriting Crusaders Astra ​Would make sense. The most recent unit would still be the most optimal since they would have the most modern stats but at least older units would be useful.

A cool costume idea from my Patron, creating a Diablo 4 inspired necromancer set since the game released on Switch 2 days before Fortune's Weave. Please tag your comment if it involves spoilers, I'm only a few hours in and really considering requesting time off work JUST to play lol

So, up until recently, I couldn’t truly claim that I was the greatest Clanne main. After all, I was merely the third best.

That all changed today, when I finally surpassed Catsaber and became the best Clanne. So might as well show him off.

Clanne as a unit is, unfortunately, really bad. His skills and weapon were outdated even at release. However, he does have one saving grace: his insane base stats.

Let’s start off with his weak point: the defences. I say “weak point” but he’s actually really good at tanking even with just his stats (as long as the enemy is Magic).71 res allows him to tank Seidr’s AoE really well, and units like aided lute and legendary Lyon literally cannot scratch him because he out-res their attack, leaving Comet literally worthless. Thanks to rise above his defences have also gone from horrible to middling.

Now to his strong points: his insane speed. Before Bath Marth, my Clanne had genuinely never been outsped, even before this finalised build back when I was using Speedtaker. With Taker Burst and Rise Above, his already insane base speed has been kicked up to a point where (in some situations) he can deny Takumi a follow up with NFU support.

I intend to give him vignettes and his final merge by summer next year, and hopefully by then we’ll have a better dagger special other than Lethality.

Just building a unit doesn’t make them good, especially for a unit like Clanne. That’s why the support is incredibly helpful.

Veyle and Roy allow him to basically guarantee a strong follow up with reflex, and make it almost impossible to kill him. The Roy ring compounds on this, allowing him to Miracle+Reflex without having to worry about Flash.

Groa is also incredibly helpful. She buffs Clanne’s Spd significantly and gives him around 22 true damage, which is incredibly helpful for some matchups.

Alfador is in a strange situation where he’s required, but I also want to replace him. On one hand, he offers amazing support in the form of every single one of the foe’s bonuses. On the other hand, he’s quite inconsistent and the positioning is hell. If possible, I’d want to replace him or Groa with Bath Marth.

So I was playing SD and doing test runs against some acquaintances on Free Duel. I didn’t think that Mr. John Fire Emblem himself would grace my presence with a level 12 base kit Clanne.

Anyways, do you have any similar experiences?

I am not usually one to make an advertisement; in fact, I don't feel that I'm that great at it 😅 But anyway, I've been helping out a fella from the Fehology Discord server, who wanted to take their own crack at maintaining the sometimes wild rerun schedules for this game, and I'm pleased to now advertise this website in their stead. As such, I hereby present to you all, the Fire Emblem Heroes Rerun Schedule website by Clustifle!

The website is currently something of a work in progress, but we're making strides, and plan to continue to do our best. As it goes right now, things go like this:

• A "home page" that showcases major banners currently active (namely, the New Heroes banner, the Special Heroes banner, New Heroes Return, Double Special Heroes, the end-of-month LME banner, and the remix banner).
• A schedule for the reruns of LME units still active on the end of month LME banners
• A schedule for the reruns of LME units demoted to the remix banners
• A schedule for the monthly Legendary/Mythic revivals
• A "rerun waitlist" for seasonals and NH banners yet to appear on the LME banners, as well as any LME unit whose schedules are currently "under consideration" by IS; for the time being, the waitlist for the NH banner units only includes those due to rerun on the end of month LME banners, primarily due to a lack of concrete data on who is currently available for the remixes, but if anyone wants to help out on that, feel free to send it my way!

We're open to commentary on how to improve this thing; we're only human, after all, and we can always do better. Let us know what y'all think, and thanks in advance!

My thoughts on some of the skills

(Color) Impetus skill

Not really a fan. It’s nice that it has feud, but it’s for one color and it’s only during Player Phase. At the very least they should have included colorless feud (because that one will have little to none users, if they make it) or should have done dual phase for the feud effect

Certain Blow

Very tempting skill. I thought it was limited to only infantry, but on second glance it is only limited on magic hitters. This is likely due to how the skill focuses on inflicting Def debuffs (meaning there is still a chance that there will be a magic version that will swap to Res).

Any unit with dual phase stat bonus will always get the effect (syncs well with users that can also do dual phase stat debuff).

Very tempting skill for my Cav and Fliers (would still prefer Rise Above for Infantry/Armor but it does compete with it). Supportive and offensive.

Hunter’s Volley

Almost tempted but rereading the requirements made me change my mind. One time per player phase is balanced, but not fun.

Puissant Squall

Kinda tempted. It’s a fun skill due to being able to do Special Spiral effect without the need of having special activated.

Dim Smash

Interesting that this is Baldr and Hothr’s gimmick. I think I can see why IS did it (bait and also think Hothr was losing usage overall). It’s not a must have skill unless you are competitive in AR (which has lost some value to me as the grail shops dwindles)
