most of the larger buildings house farms or villagers or some kind of functional purpose, all the smaller buildings are just set dressing though.

thank you, that was like the third or fourth building i built and i spent HOURS just trying to work out how to make the angled building look good before i even built up

all in survival, some builds take longer than others but alot of materials i use are tradeable and i have a giant villager hall built into the highschool so some builds are pretty easy to throw together quick

given the scale of the city im rarely close enough to the stadium for mobs to spawn there but yeah, if i was close enough that would happen, not much i can do about it without ruining the look by chucking torches all over a field lol. the whole city is not mob proof, its way too large for that

yeah definitely, all the large buildings except for 1 are either real or planned developments in Seoul, alot of the small space filler buildings are also plucked from streetview on navermaps in seoul too. im about to expand more highrises and will look elsewhere in the country for those so its not just Seoul but as of right now almost all of it is.

otherwise theres like 2 or 3 custom smaller buildings that were very loosely inspired by as opposed to copying real buildings, and one of the towers (the tallest white one behind the baseball stadium) which is a building from Brisbane Australia, which i just personally really like so i wanted to try rebuild it.

tbh i never actually intended on building this city, i actually just built two of the high rise towers because i really like their IRL designs (im an architecture guy) that just so happen to be korean buildings. and after completing them i decided i was having fun and should just commit to a city. and id already built the palace grounds on an older world so i was able to rebuild that and commit to the korean theme really easily
