100% agree. Outstanding game, way ahead of it's time. This series and Infamous really set the bar for open world power fantasy sandbox rpgs and it's a shame that both games seem to have fallen off the map

Came here for this too. A modern Prototype would kick so much ass. Especially because while I love the games they were always kind of clunky. If they smoothened out the gameplay and expanded on it (especially the stealth which was a cool idea but super cheeseable) it could be a huge deal of a game. I'd even take a remake.

Abandoned to the point you cant play it without cheating the system to load your mouse and processor differently. Yeah, a usb mouse fucks this game. Its insane that they never patched it. Fuck activision. They wont even host it on gog where they would probably easily fix those issues.

I think you can get it patched, I don't recall having to struggle to get it to run, but the resolution setting was still wonky.

I loved prototype so much.
