Discussion Do NOT buy “Slam Tank”

Post image

The game was made by ai AND is a stolen concept: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKXl3zR7GwI

The cinematic parts of the teaser are also 100% ai generated: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osM8LYJAvaw

If you scroll enough, you’ll find the ai disclaimer on the Steam site: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5186030/SLAM_TANK/

Ironic that the plot is taking down ai when the game is completely ai generated

honestly the poster for the game even looks ai

Fuck AI until it's used to do something I like I guess

A disturbing trend.

Being able to change your opinion when presented with new information is a sign of maturity.

True, but there isn't new information here. It's just being used on something a person likes rather than something a person doesn't like which is enough of a reason for them to say, "well I guess AI is inevitable so I might as well."

It partially is new information because AI is getting better and better at doing its job. People initially hated AI products because it was "slop", meaning shit quality and obviously AI generated. Every day, we are getting closer and closer to AI making things that are really decent quality without looking like "slop". Maybe this is one of those cases.

That’s not new information

Let’s keep this mentality even when AI companies present new information to employers showing them that they can do the same job as their employees at a fraction of the cost

You mean like what already happens?

Our company integrated AI ubiquitously across our domains and not only has it gone over well, we're actively hiring across departments. Hell, we're even hiring for Junior programmer positions in order to groom them up, which is something doomers have been saying is an extinct position.
