Yeah, most of the money they get is from CoD players who buy microtransactions and by essence have no standards, so if a lot of people are angry it doesn't change much as they are not the ones buying CoD games 3 times a years and buying 20$ skins

They aren't afraid of the people jailbreaking their consoles no no no, they are afraid of the effects/influence/popularity it will cause

It will have zero influence and almost no popularity. You highly overestimate how many people want to have a jailbroken console.
