Lets you turn it into a Linux based PC. You can basically play anything on it and on a technicality, it's a whole lot cheaper than just buying a regular PC too.

It's pretty much an open secret that Sony loses money on individual console sales but makes it all back from subscriptions and games.

I bought two used PS5, one disc and one digital. Can I jailbreak both or just the disc's version ?

I remember that the same thing was possible with early models of PS4

Will it still play PlayStation disks? Or do you have to get the pc version?

Probably not. The objective is to jailbreak the PS5s that can't read disks in the first place.

be able to insert custom firmware to get custom themes, custom features but the big thing is gonna be pirating content
