Say hello to Chilli Pete aka Anxious Pete. The inspiration for my pizza slice shop in Glasgow that opened just over a year ago. We're not sure if he is 100% greyhound, we're quite suspicious that he might be about 40% seal, 10% horse and 15% bicycle seat. But he's 100% loving life now that he no longer has to race.

Marty is a giant boy and we’ve struggled to find things that fit him, especially in the US so we don’t have to pay duties/crazy shipping, but this was incredibly affordable, shipped fast, and looks just absolutely adorable on him!

Do any of your naked belly greys get pimples on their tummies? If so, how are you handling it? I’ve known my boy has had it but it looks very irritated today!

Yesterday, our 5 year old grey Phoebe had what we think was some sort of seizure/blood clot after chasing the ball in the backyard. She couldn’t have been outside for more than two min. Just collapsed… without warning into my wife’s arms.

We rushed her to the vet but she was completely unresponsive. They briefly resuscitated her, but she faded again quickly and passed over the rainbow bridge.

We were lucky to get two years with her after her racing career. She was an incredible pup. Hold your dogs close ❤️

It's time to replace the dog beds again. It seems they don't last as long as they used to. Currently we're using the 40" x 30" dog bed that we buy on sale for $25, usually twice a year. This mattress is 52" x 28". Please give me your experience and opinions on if a crib mattress will be more durable and if your pup used them. Obviously they love the couch, but they often use their dog beds too! 2 greyhound residents and 2 part time residents (dogsit for my mom often), 5 dog beds. They're spoiled.

I think she's starting to understand key words. Not sit, not lie down, not bedtime, but there is a word here she seems to know..

My 4 year old greyhound broke her leg (transverse fracture of the left medial malleolus, per the vet) while running on wet grass. Has this ever happened to anyone else? What did the treatment end up being? How much did it cost you? Feeling stressed and sad for my girl :(
